Trenkle Kuckulino Black Forest Clock Swiss House with Quartz Movement and Cuckoo Chime TU 2058 PQ

The media could not be loaded.  A couple of things about this item, it does have an option for music or "cuckoo", I prefer the which is heard in the video attached this review, but that's probably just a matter of preference. It's a small clock compared to other similar type clocks but this is the size I personally prefer. I do like that the cuckoo call which is followed by the cuckoo's song has the number of calls for the number, and to me it doesn't sound like it has an echo which I've read in similar type clock reviews. It doesn't come with a battery cover which is a minor thing and doesn't effect the functionality of the item based on what I can tell, but if other clock people are clock people like I am then they'll want it to be have a "complete" feel to it. The two birds are animated, the heads move up and down all the time, not just on the hour which I think is cute. I don't regret the purchase, even with the small annoyance with the battery cover. I got the item as a family heirloom gift to my son, but the whole house is enjoying it, it's a fun little timepiece.
