Great on long flights, holds your arms and is cozy. Great for sleeping in hotels if the blankets are too light and you are used to heavy ones. It creates a sort of sensory pressure that is very nice. I generally leave my feet and arms out (unless on flight) but love the flexibility and ease to modify as necessary. Launders quickly and easily, lightweight and easy to bring along:)

Sleeping through the night (and falling asleep) is a challenge for me. I use a weighted blanket, medication, nighttime routines, you name it, but I have PTSD and I often wake up from nightmares or for no reason at all and cannot fall back asleep. Hugsleep has been a GAME CHANGER for me - if I wake up in the night and remembered to wear it, I’m back asleep in minutes! Even putting it on in the middle of the night puts me straight back to sleep.If you don’t like the feeling of a weighted blanket, DON’T BUY THIS. However, if you love deep pressure, it is absolutely amazing. The material is thin, which is great for the hot months, and being able to stick your feet out has kept me pretty comfortable. You also don’t *have* to put your arms inside it!I just washed it, and it seems to have washed well!Downsides would be trying to walk in this thing when you lay down and realize you need to pee, and having to wear a tank top and shorts while using it and then being exposed to the cruel and cold world outside your cocoon.If the thought of being slightly constricted while sleeping doesn’t seem relaxing for you, then this probably isn’t the best thing for you. It has also made me no longer a stomach sleeper!For me, 10/10, and I will likely purchase another so that I’m never without one.

I have used all kinds of blankets in search for a better night sleep--weighted, cooling, heating, normal, and now the HugSleep. While the HugSleep blanket is a whole body experience that offers a comforting wrap around feeling, the bottom line is that it's not worth the cost of $109.I had a much better night sleep with my weighted blanket, but the HugSleep does offer a unique feeling that other blankets do not. It does feel like you are being swaddled/hugged which is a good comforting feeling and if you're in search of just that this is the blanket for you. Where the blanket falls short for me is that I love to use my phone while in bed or just before going to sleep. That simply is not really possible with the HugSleep if you want to use it the way it is intended. Your arms are very restricted and you cannot hold up your phone in a comfortable position with everything tucked and swaddled away.Here are a few other points I liked and did not like about the HugSleep ExperiencePros:* Does provide a swaddling/hugging feeling while sleeping* Keeps you warm on average nights* Soft material, not scratchy, feels niceCons:* Difficult to get out of quickly (like if you have a bathroom emergency)* Tends to get a little hot -- highly recommend the foot pouch* You can't use your arms at all while with this.Overall, I do not think this is worth the price of the product. I can see this being a much better deal at $30-40 for the blanket. This is a very novel experience though. I decided on four stars because it does what it says it will do.

The media could not be loaded. My son and I began traveling recently, which requires a lot of plane rides and car camping. We needed something that would be warm and lightweight for a plane and not bulky like a sleeping bag for camping. The hug sleep, hooded sleep pod is lightweight yet warm and comforting. The sleep pod provides a swaddle like effect for adults while the oversized hoodie feature keeps out the sun when you were trying to sleep. The material is a gray color stretchy fabric that allows for movement but still feel comfortable snug. The material is easy to wash and does not wrinkle very easily.An added benefit that I wasn’t expecting to get was the anxiety reducing benefits. It really helped Improve my sleep.

I just received my sleep pod.It's literally worthless. Due to my build and weight, I was worried that even the large would be too small, as I'm on the upper end of the recommended size for it. Boy, was I wrong.It's like a tent. It feels like ill-fitting, stretched out socks- just ginormous. It offers no pressure or weight.I had such high hopes for this product. I love the deep pressure of a weighted blanket, but this for sure is NOT a replacement for that. You could easily fit 2 of me in there, and probably still not have the pressure feeling it advertises. If I stand up and try to wear it as a dress, it wouldn't even stay up, it falls down. Even after bringing 3 pillows inside of it, it does not do what it advertises. It doesn't even provide the same level of pressure as a pair of yoga pants or control top panty hose. I could achieve a tighter swaddle by laying a blanket down on the floor and rolling myself up like a burrito.I'm also disappointed with the hole for your feet. This was the design element I was waiting on before I ordered one- I need my feet to stick out. But there's only one small foot hole on the side of the bottom. It's not enough to get both feet out, at least not comfortably.Others have complained that theirs was much smaller than it should be, so maybe the company is struggling to provide consistent sizes? IDK. But I'm sending mine back. I'm not going to try to exchange it for a smaller size because having seen one in person now, I don't think it's made of strong enough material to give the kind of pressure needed for a therapeutic effect. The material they use is just too thin and doesn't give enough resistance. Like I mentioned above, it's not even as strong as the top of most (looser fitting) yoga pants or a maxi skirt. It's really weak. That probably helps with temperature control, but it makes the product pretty useless. 😞I'm so bummed out. Hopefully the return process will be quick and easy.
