Full of good, useful information. I bought this book to get familiar with doing minor tasks ie brakes,readjust gears,tools use.The pictures and explanations are apt and easy to follow. I feel there is everything in this book to become a proficient cycle mechanic.

A good text book
As far as bicycle mechanics manuals go this is about the best there is , but there are serious omissions , such as "Freewheel Destructive Removal" , "Fixed Gear Drive Chain , Gear Alignment" , etc Hence four stars .

Worth every penny
This is a beautiful book and well worth the money. Excellent photos, easy to follow text and covers old and modern bikes. Yes it’s on the pricier side as are the tools but you get what you pay for and as with the tools it’s worth it
