Staedtler Mars Lumograph Black Art Pencils, Presharpened #8B Artist Pencils, Box of 12, 100B-8B

These are excellent drawing pencils that are a nice matte black finish without having to deal with the "graphite shine"! These are the only pencils I will draw with now.

I have always had a hard time getting that jet black pencil for my art. These are great. Great for the money and just in general. I can now get that solid black needed for my work.

I have used this pencil before and this is a great deal. They arrived in perfect condition and are the real deal. Will buy again when I use these up.

As an artist, I wanted to find some pencils that could get to black instead of the darkest shades of gray to give my artwork deep contrast. I just received them today and I can tell you that it can turn a drawing into a masterpiece. I paired it with the faber castell 8b and it can create beautiful drawings. Definitely will buy again.

A little hard to blend but very very dark value

I like the fact that I can get a true black for my pencil drawings. Along with Faber Castell & General pencils, I hardly use any others.

After I ordered these pencils, I discovered I could get the exact same pencils with more options on sets. This was a better option than having to mess with additional postage and the confusing ordering process!! Plus, I didn’t have to wait.

Estos lápices los vengo usando hace un tiempo y son los mejores. El 8B da unos negros profundos y mates, sin brillos. Los 4B y 6B cubren las necesidades de dibujo perfectamente.Son más para dibujo directo, sin utilizar o lo mínimo los difuminos. Pero ni falta que les hace, el resultado es siempre espectacular

The media could not be loaded.

Can be used with charcoal pencil. Extremely dark. Doesn't shine like normal graphite would do. Infact I do not think it is graphite at all. Very soft. Made with quite sticky material so not easy to blend. But very useful for dark outlining after blending. Quite pricy though.
