Why did you pick this product vs others?:The price is most important and after using it, it very simple and accurate, helps me greatly to assure my fishes live healthy and I don’t wasted money.

I've had these for almost a year and they still work (I was almost worried they didn't, because I wasn't getting any nitrite or nitrate, but I started a new tank and I did see some). I had my water electronically tested at a fish shop and the results matched these strips. Sometimes the colors for pH and hardness are difficult to read, but it gets the job done.

Ntrate reading never changes color and always stay in white color (0 ppm) even when my tank has nitrate of 40+ ppm when using different manufacture tests. I contacted the seller and was able to get a refund. I'll give another try to see if they fixed the issues.

Easy to use, clear direction's.

I think in comparison to other test strips it is most accurate. My only concern is that it doesn't read carbonate.Other Test Strips have carbonate but do vary in readings i.e 40 ppm instead of 80ppm alkalinity. Some use Blue chlorine reader vs. Pink. Ect.Again I felt this reader to be most accurate out of the 5 I've tried... based off of the Fish's/Turtles behavior of course.

Best thing to have for quick reference. This strip helped me save one of my bettas. They are so easy to use. You can see the results fast. The bottle comes with a lot of strips, so you get good bang for your buck. They last a long time and the colors are very clear. Safe to use in any tank.

I used this product when starting a new aquarium. I tested my tap water first. The chlorine, ammonia, nitrates, and nitrites read ZERO. I decided to use half the amount to condition the water, just in case. None of those stats changed for over a week after filling the tank. After the first week, the nitrates started to show just a small blush of pink (but only after about 3 minutes) and never even close to the lightest color on the color chart (10ppm).After another week, there was enough change to the nitrates that I thought my tank was finished cycling, and I ordered plants and fish (I had used FritzZyme 7 at the start, so a 3-week cycle shouldn't have been a problem). Something told me to verify the results, just in case. I purchased a master test kit, and the ammonia levels read 8 ppm! Nitrates were at 10. Only the nitrites were still reading ZERO.Had I trusted these strips, all my new livestock would have died. Thankfully, I've caught it in time to fix it before my plants and fish arrive next week. I hope.I'm returning the product. I can't trust any of the readings.

They work but it is difficult following the color matching. New to having a professional beta fish tank, I had to go online to get an understanding of what each indicator on the color strip means. Also used YouTube for help. I owned a Beta years ago and never had to go thru all the fuss of testing the water, setting up a fish tank. Livingston had a very large fish bowl and lived for nearly 4 years. Functionality of the product is why I gave this product 3 stars. Ease of use: No. Had water tested at big box store and that's when I decided to go to YouTube for a better understanding.
