Opening is easy. It pops open on its own
This is one of the more interesting items my wife purchased recently. Opening is easy. It pops open on its own. Folding it is another story. It is more than a puzzle to figure out how to close it until you notice the letter-size instruction sheet, printed on fabric, and sewed permanently on one seam. Ah ha. I guess I know why the instruction is so prominently presented. You definitely want to spend one minute to read it. It reduces a 5 minute struggle down to a 5 second chore. The trick is to roll it up and it folds naturally. Once you have mastered it it becomes addictive, giving you the urge to open and close it just for fun. Never force folding it or else you risk bending the steel rib.The thing that prompted me to drop a comment here is that someone commented that the spikes cannot hold the tent in place. Well, the spikes are just stretching out the bottom. You want to look for the pockets on the sides. Fill the pockets with a few pounds of sand, and then pile a mount of sand over the pockets of sand. It will take a hurricane to topple your canopy. The mesh at the bottom of the canopy is a thoughtful feature. You will appreciate it when you enjoy a breeze lying in the tent. I have a couple similar tents without the mesh. Those become ovens under the sun.

The ones it comes with aren’t good at all
It’s ok. It’s sufficietly roomy for two adults. Must buy sand stakes separately. The ones it comes with aren’t good at all. Canopy does it’s job. The main drawback is that it doesn’t do great in the wind. It was windy but not too windy. I haven’t tried it with the new stakes I ordered. Don’t think I’d buy it again but I also don’t wish to return it. In summary: meh.

The concept is great. Slightly difficult to close but once you’ve done it a few times it gets easier. The stakes are way too short for sand especially if it’s windy. The side that was in the wind kept collapsing.

Not bad
Not that sturdy in the wind. The top collapses a little but you can kind of save it if line the sides with your heavy stuff (bags, cooler, etc) not bad at all for what I paid though. We will continue to use.

Great space saver
Liked this product. It folds up pretty thin and is easy to store.

It is real a necessity in summer if you spend weekends on beach. The tent is just what we need. It is simple, fast and lightweight. It has room for my family, three persons. Even there is no vestibule area as a my prior complex tent, this one meets all my needs. The instruction attached on the bag about how to fold the tent is straightforward and following it I fold it without difficulties. No quality issue found yet.

Be unfolded automatically and folded easily
I take my children to play at Lake Tahoe for a whole day on the summer weekend. The sun in Nevada is particularly strong and can easily damage the skin of children. This beach tent can be unfolded automatically and folded easily. When they are tired, they can sleep comfortably inside.
