Easy to handle, cuts great and cuts all I want to use it for.

I love this thing so much! It gets the job done on thick cardboard. Keeps a charge well. Cut through about 30 boxes without issue or overheating. It is easily sharpened by cutting through a folded piece of aluminum foil. The only thing I wish is that it came with an extra replacement blade or two, for when it does need to be replaced. Otherwise, I 100% would buy it again and would recommend it!

Cutter has a safety switch which is good but it’s hard to hold it and the trigger at the same time. Not suitable for cutting up cardboard. Really have to push hard to get it to muscle thru single wall cardboard which is why I bought it. Great for cutting paper.Revised…. This is a very handy tool especially when cutting big shipment cardboards to small sizes. Less effort to cut thick cardboards. This is also very helpful for my kids' arts and crafts cutting. It'll do the job for you, just direct it according to your preference.

Purchased this to cut artificial turf that I haven’t got to as of yet but we purchased some dog dental rawhides for our small dogs and due to being so big I cut them down. Cuts through them like hot butter.

These clippers are the best-ever solution for cutting up tarps very quickly. Each year we remove all tarps that serve to protect our poultry and sheep housing units for inspection, and we cut off any damaged sections before patching. These clippers do this job very fast and save our hands from getting tired from using ordinary scissors. The only improvement I can think of would be the addition of a power indicator light on the clippers so we'll know when it's time for a re-charge.

It does what it’s supposed to do but it does get snagged here and there and you need some muscle to push it through the cardboard sometimes.

A must have for any crafter, especially if you have arthritis, carpel tunnel tendinitis.

I bought these to remove carpeting in small sections from a bedroom to dispose of the carpet easier. I also used them to cut up a large shag area rug for disposal as well. These were charged when they arrived and were great for my purposes not to mention cutting up cardboard boxes. Great price. Highly recommend.

I picked up this cordless scissor on whim as I like to cut up old clothes that are not donatable, to use as rags. If you’ve every cut up large amounts of clothes for rags in one sitting, from regular t-shorts to jeans, you’ll find that it takes some effort and you usually end up with sore and tired hands. This electric shear is the solution! It makes cutting fabric effortless. It literally glides through the fabric, including denim, like a hot knife through butter. The cuts are super clean and the lines are sharp, not that it matters with rags but, it definitely would be for crafting, which is another great use of this tool. It also allows for longer and straighter uninterrupted cuts vs typical scissors, so it’s also great for cutting those long gift wrapping paper. The only nit pick I have with this shear is the position of the safety release buttons. They’re not in an optimal position and for me, it slightly awkward to engage. It could have been better positioned, ergonomically. As it is, it works fine but again, there’s a little bit of fussing around with you fingers to engage it. Another nit pick of mine is that while this shear is rechargeable (a positive thing) however, it does require the use of the included proprietary charger, which utilizes a barrel type charging head. It would have been better if the charging port was a standard usb instead. On a positive note, this shear kit comes with a decent quality case that keeps everything together so, your not likely going to lose or misplace the charger.The manufacture does claim that the shear is self sharpening. I haven’t used it long enough to tell but so far, it’s has remained sharp through all my uses. Considering that this kit comes with everything you need out of the box, It’s a decently priced tool as $49.99 but, a better deal if you catch it on sale for $39.99 (at the time of this review).

I haven't tried powered "scissors" (these are more like a powered pizza cutter) before, but early results with this VLOXO product point to a device that will be handy to have in my toolbox.The set comes in a convenient storage case and includes the cutter, a charging cable, and instructions. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a spare blade, but a quick search on Amazon reveals a few options and all of them seem to be of similar shape and size, so hopefully I can get a spare when it's needed.I made sure this was fully charged before using it, which only took a couple of hours. Once charged I tried it out on the Amazon box it came shipped in. It made short work of the cut, which was nice and smooth. I also tried a curved cut, and while you won't be able to create very small circles or tightly curved cuts, it's maneuverable enough to provide some options for more than just straight cuts.The reason I'm not giving this full stars is due to the ease of releasing the safety trigger and the build quality. You have to press the safety catch, from either side, before the device can be powered on (i.e., before the power trigger on the handle will turn on the motor). I appreciate a safety switch is meant to be a conscious step so you can't accidentally turn on something like this, but it feels overly cumbersome and difficult to use. Additionally, with an all plastic handle, the scissors feel a bit cheap. I think it will be fine for home use, but if you're looking for something more industrial or that can be used in a commercial setting I'm not sure this is the right option.Even with the above drawbacks, it's a nice cutter, and being cordless enhances the ease of use. I am a bit disappointed that it won't work when directly plugged in as it means once the battery is depleted and can't be recharged the device is rendered useless. Hopefully this won't happen for some time. I look forward to using this on more than just cardboard and it will no doubt come in handy for the crafting projects my family and I enjoy.
