Microsoft Surface Laptop (2024), Windows 11 Copilot+ PC, 13.8" Touchscreen Display, Snapdragon X Elite (12 core), 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD Storage, Dune

This laptop is very powerful as well as very efficient. I’ve been using it as my main laptop for studying and it lasts nearly the whole day. It’s fast and zippy. If there’s one thing I don’t like about it, it’s that not all computer programs are compatible with it right now. However, you can download some of those programs from the Microsoft App Store. It’s also smaller than I thought it would be, but the screen is quite big. Sound quality is decent and the screen is nice and sharp. It’s not an oled screen but it’s still very impressive. The keyboard itself is very much the best keyboard I’ve used on a computer. The track pad is also very good. This laptop is very sturdy and light as well. Copilot is useful and fun to use, but it still needs some work. All in all, for the features and the power this computer has I think it’s a great value for the money, especially when you get it on sale for the holidays!

Let me preface by saying that I love surface laptops. Their keyboard and high res screens are amazing. This is the second time I try a ARM laptop after the Windows RT era. Love the battery life, ease of use as any other windows machine, and the experience of working with an ARM processor. Prism (windows version of Rosetta for mac) does an amazing job translating all those x86/x64 programs to ARM, no noticeable performance difference. However, beware of peripherals that do not have ARM specific drivers, as they won't work. Think old USB or network printers. Most modern era models will work out of the box, but there are many that will not. And this includes anything you attach to the computer that needs a driver. So far, I just love it. Got the 1TB version elite plus. Don't be blindsided by the Copilot AI feature. I still haven't used it and frankly, don't care.

I recently purchased the Microsoft Surface Laptop (2024), and overall, I’m incredibly impressed with its performance. With 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD storage, this laptop handles everything I throw at it—whether it’s video editing, running complex software, or just casual browsing. Windows 11 runs smoothly, and the device feels premium and well-built. Battery life is outstanding, and it’s surprisingly lightweight, making it great for both work and travel. The laptop is fast, responsive, and does exactly what I need without any hiccups. However, my one gripe is that after spending nearly $2,000 on this high-end machine, I still have to pay extra for Copilot+. Given the price of the laptop, I would have expected this feature to be included, especially since it’s one of Windows 11's flagship features. While Copilot+ is a helpful AI tool, it feels like it should be a standard part of the package. Overall, I’m still giving it 5 stars because the hardware is fantastic, and it excels at everything I use it for. I just wish Microsoft would rethink the pricing model for Copilot+.

Great laptop for the price. It's got all the bells and whistle. I especially like the color.

I purchased it for my brother-in-law, he absolutely loves it!

My daughter uses this at college and loves its size and flexibility for college. The college uploaded the student programs for free and she says the battery life is really good. Some reviews on google said the computer sometimes has issues with streaming apps. My daughter has not any issues and uses it more than her phone or smart tv.

And it seem to run cooler than my old surface did which I didn't expect. The new battery charging management system is fine even if it had me wondering why it was stubbornly maintining a 74% max charge at first.
