I've enjoyed using this! It seems to work to attract birds to the feeders after filling them.
It seems to particularly work to attract cardinals, chickadees and titmice and their presence attracts other birds. It's fun to watch them cock their heads and listen to it through the front door! It doesn't seem to make much of a sound and it only comes with a tiny bit of resin, but you can order more resin, which I did, and keep it working well. And when I use it, the birds show up :D

It can mimic bird sounds fairly well. It concentrates on smaller bird varieties.

Powder capsule won't open
My husband loves this. The only problem is that the powder capsule will not open. I guess that this isn't meant to last very long.

Calling my wild birds when its feeding time
Seems to work fine, rather quite though, not sure if my flock or finches can here it yet. One problem, the package I got was supposed to have a capsule of pine resin but mine was broken open and so I don't got none now. The resin is to make the whistle work better... so now dunno?

Keep it on your key chain!
I use this on my keys and whenever I'm out for walks I'll see what calls back to me. Small enough to fit in my pocket no problem and it's fun for everyone, not just kids! Build quality is pretty stable, value is great, and it's dead easy to use. Love the wood appearance and it's a nice fidget toy too

Works great
Makes a variety of bird sounds. You do need to save the little red capsule with the pine resin. Only problem is getting small refills for the resin
