Jack Link's Premium Cuts Beef Steak, Original, 1-Ounce (Pack of 12)

I've been steering towards a low carb diet for some time now, and one of the things i've been looking for are a variety of proten/fat based snacks, of which this is a pretty decent addition. The only "issue" I have with it is that it's not really jerky, and I originally was looking for individually packaged Jerky.This is referred to as a beef steak, and I really don't know what else to call it. It's got more fat and isn't as dried out as jerky would be, and it's got a very different flavor. I wouldn't dare say that it tastes like steak, but it definitely has a strong salt and pepper flavor (especially pepper), and it does have some beef flavoring, but it doesn't taste very much like steak or jerky at all. It's not a bad flavor, but I wouldn't say it's as good as the jerky.If you haven't tried this before, I recommend hunting it down at your local gas station and trying it before you buy, as it may not be what you're looking for.

Very tasty snack, and a nice satisfying amount. Could easily be used to curb your appetite, and in a healthy way. Combine it with, say, an apple or banana and I feel like I've had a good light meal.

Taste great, way cheaper to buy this than individually at the store. Great to throw in the car for a snack on the go.

Good flavor, and a great snack on the go, but I find it to be too salty. And I like my salty snacks. The product would be really great is it were just a little less salty.

Have ordered a fair amount of JL stuff in the past, including these beef sticks, and been happy before but this last batch was horrible. Not only inedible but literally not chewable. Something in this batch is so tough that I literally could not chew it. I still have the box if JL wants to reach out but never want to order this one again.

My husband says it’s flavor is great and loves the texture.

My dog eats this stuff way too much.

My family has eaten about four cartons of this in the last two months.
