After wearing this strap on my seiko 5 for over 2 years near daily, I think it’s time to change it out. The sun has bleached some of the black colour out of the strap and over time many of the stitches have fallen out from regular wear and tear; which is still impressive considering the abuse it has gone through. Highly recommend this comfortable and high quality strap will definitely be buying another barton one as a replacement.

I purchased my Barton watch strap on May 25 2022. It cost £12.99.I did not last well. The fabric has lost colour and also worn away on the two cross bands.I was none the less going to look at buying another because 'for best' rather than everyday wear it would be good as it is stylish.However, in just over a year, the price has risen to £23.23 on the exact same product. No amount of inflation in this period can possibly account for what looks like profiteering with a near doubling of the price. My advice is not to buy.

Good quality material, slight stiffness to product but will loosen over time. Feels very comfortable.

I purchased a grey canvas whatch band and on delivery I was very pleased with my purchase.Unfortunately after 2 weeks of use it as faded in the sun and is losing its smoke grey colour.Very disappointed. This doesn't show up very well on a photo, hence I haven't attached one.Barton need to improve on this, at £25.00 I expected better.

Not only it looks classy, if you don’t want to use a heavy bracelet, but the stitching is on point. I don’t bathe with it, because it would probably gunk up with soap.The fit is perfect!

I wanted a 22mm strap to replace a silicone one, as I am allergic to silicone, so I opted for this strap, and is seemed near the top of the range and is made of canvas.It looked good but i was going to have a real problem fitting it to my smart watch.The half with the metal fastener went on a treat but the other half (the ones with the holes in) was a different story.The problem was that the end with the bit that sticks out where you are supposed to pull it back to engage it in the watch, just disappeared because the strap was not stitched correctly and therefore the hole was way too big, allowing the whole thing to disappear.After trying about 6 times I gave up in frustration and put the old silicone strap back on, intending to send the strap back to Amazon the following day.The next morning I thought I would try and solve the problem, by jamming a thin piece of cardboard under the metal retainer, so the 'bit that sticks up' doesn't disappear when you try to pull it back, and therefore I was able to attach the strap successfully.Conclusion :I was very disappointed that I had to 'repair' a brand new item, especially having to use a bit of cardboard to compensate for poor quality stitching !I have fitted literally hundreds of straps to watches and this is the very first time I have had a problem.I have deducted 2 stars because of poor qulaity and I would have sent it back but I needed the replacement strap immediately, otherwise I would be without my smart watch.Obviously this firm had no quality control and I am sure I could have paid a lot less and got a strap that didn't need any 'modification' to fit it.Would I recommend this strap ? ... NO !Would I buy from them again ? .... DEFINITELY NOT !I will be looking elsewhere for my next strap that is for sure, and I advise that you do the same.

So far very happy with my choice of strap, the khaki colour matches my bronze diver absolutely perfectly.Now let us get down to the strap review.Comfort firstly I was pleasantly supprised to find the strap very comfortable straight out of the box no breaking in required it was comfortable to wear all day long. So no problems here.The finish and build quality I found very good for the price point. The attention to detail on the stitching is excellent all perfectly straight with reinforcement around the sizing holes for extra durability.The brushed stainless steel buckle is also of good quality and matches the style of strap perfectly.The quick release spring bars are always a bonus providing they are of a decent strength and quality finish and these seem fine.As for the longevity of the strap and quick release spring bars only time will tell but I honestly can't forsee any problems.Now for the negatives, this will be quick as I can't find any just one or two little niggles. Firstly and this is not a fault of the strap but I would have liked to have seen these with different buckle finishes for example polished, brushed and PVD coated. Not quite a deal breaker but mine would have looked better with a black PVD coated buckle to match the crown. I would have liked the strap to be a little thicker but having said that it probably would not be as comfortable and would also cost a little more. Still on the fence with the thickness as I would not like to trade it for the comfort factor.Just to summarise these straps are excellent for the money in all the areas that matter the most, I am just hoping I can say the same in time for the longevity of the strap. I will update with some more thoughts after I have owned this strap for enough time to test it properly.I can see several more of these beauty's on the horizon to complement some of my other watches.Thanks for taking the time to read my little review.
