Great exercise mat for my patio! Would buy again!!
Mat has just the right amount of cushion yet light weight enough for portability. Purchased the 4x6 and use a small yoga mat on top and together they make the best combination!

The best mat ever
First off this is a ginormous mat! Seriously it’s the largest one I’ve ever seen. Which I absolutely love! This is amazing for doing stretches. Usually, when I am doing stretches, I end up going off the mat onto the bare floor. Which is kind of gross to me, even though the floor is clean. This mat eliminates that problem completely. I also love that I don’t have to be in exactly the same direction as the instructor. So it makes it easier to follow along with yoga or stretching on TV. Because I can still see the TV no matter what direction I am on the mat, and I still don’t go off the mat.The feel of the mat is very nice as well. I have problems with my knees, and so I cannot really use a traditional mat. They are much too thin, and my knees end up getting injured. However, this mat is spongy enough that my knees are actually quite comfortable on it. The material of the mat is a bit odd. it has little bumps on it, like a regular yoga mat. However, those bumps will squish down and look completely flat. Don’t get me wrong, it is still very comfortable. It is just slightly disconcerting to see that. It almost looks like if there’s any pressure on the mat, the little bumps look as if you accidentally burned it or something. After a few seconds, the bumps return to normal. But the first time it happened, I thought the mat was ruined. So just be aware of that. This actually comes with a yoga towel, two mat straps, and a mat bag. While the straps are very convenient, I cannot really see using this at like a studio or something like that, unless there is a lot of room for one person. I’m sure there are specialty classes like that, though. And I’m so glad that it came with the straps in the bag, just in case I ever do take it somewhere. But for now, this is my home mat.I also like that the mat is stiff enough to roll up easily. And it can stand straight up on its own. Which is awesome, because it is so huge that I have to leave it standing in the corner. I actually do not really use the bag because it is easier to just put on the straps and call it a day.TLDR: great mat, super comfortable, thick enough for my knees, stiff enough to roll, too huge for most classes, perfect for home, comes with straps and a towel, absolutely wonderful!

Double wide "Yoga" mat for Yogis used to thick mats, good fro acroyoga & parent + child yoga
This GymCope mat is described primarily online as a wide “Yoga” mat. It is that. On the labeling on the mat itself it is described as primarily as being a comfortable “Exercise” mat. It is that as well. I’m making the distinction because some Yogis, (people who practice yoga) definitely do not want and cannot use an overly squishy mat. A mat that is too thick (a subjective measure) and that has too much give causes instability when doing any balance poses. Also when a mat is as thick as this, 7-8 mm and made from man-made materials instead of latex (which is dense) even a pose such as downward dog can feel uncomfortable because of too much instability in the hands. However, there are some Yogis who prefer and need a thick and very cushioning mat because of issues in their wrists, knees and hips. Those who practice restorative yoga may decidedly want a thick cushioning mat. This mat is about 7-8 mm thick and made of the type of man made PVC materials. I was interested in this mat for its potential use in doing partner’s yoga or acroyoga (where two or more person’s along with one or several spotters are on the same mat at the same time). For that purpose, the double wide aspect of this mat is great. Also, because based on my very limited experience with acroyoga, some multi-person poses in acroyoga have a increased risk of falling out of a pose onto the mat. In that case, the extra cushioning is a boon. I think this larger area of floor coverage, also makes this mat attractive for any Parent and child yoga activities. For those who want very thick and cushioning Pilates mat or exercise mat with more surface area for a larger body or to allow more latitude in movement and body positioning on the floor, this mat is great. Another way to think about this double wide exercise mat, is that if your “home gym” space is limited and the floor use accommodate multiple uses, then this single mat that can be rolled out and rolled-up and stored away is faster and more convenient for laying down a comfortable “gym” floor surface when compared to the puzzle-piece interlocking solid foam cushioning tiles that can be used to cover a floor surface. This mat comes with a nice carrying bag, a microfiber towel, and straps to hold the rolled up mat together.

She finds it an effective cushion, comfortable and a good size
We got this for our daughter (11 at time of review) as she does a lot of dance and during the summer, good for her to be able to practice outside on the patio. This gives a nice comfortable surface for her to do this.Out of the bag it had a slight smell, but they state in the information that this will disappear after a few days of use, and not strong to start with.Delivered rolled up in a storage bag, with two Velcro straps and a drying towel, it spread flat without any particular tendency to try and roll itself up again. The top surface was comfortable under foot and the anti-slip bottom surface kept the mat stable and in position. We had initially been concerned that it would be a bit large, which it might be for some internal rooms, but for our use outside it gave sufficient space required for her dance activities. The delivery box did not help the initial concern, being quite oversized for the mat!She finds it an effective cushion, comfortable and a good size.

A large and thick yoga mat
This is a large and thick yoga mat. I’ve tried a few but this one is the biggest and best quality I’ve ever tried. It comes in a carry bag and rolls up after use.The mat is 8mm thick so would be versatile enough to be used as a baby play mat etc.It measures 1.83 metres x 1.2 metres so certainly not small.I’m very happy to recommend this I think it’s brilliant for the money.
