Picked these up for my mother who is disabled after a spinal injury.They are very affordable, lightweight and easy to use. She lacks grip strength (she cant even use her mobility scooter anymore) but has had no issue with these. She only uses them for light items, so suit her needs perfectly.Coming in a set of 4 has meant she can have one per room and doesnt have to try to carry one around with her.Not much else to say. They are pretty robust and perfectly fit for purpose. Very reasonably priced - the NHS one we originally got for her was £20 for one!

As the school holidays have started, I am always looking at ways to entertain the kids and we do like to go out for walks.I thought these would be great for us to make it a little more interesting and meaningful by teaching them about looking after the neighbourhood we live in.The litter-pickers are a bit on the flimsy side, but for our purpose, they are absolutely fine and have already used them 😊. I have still knocked a star off though as they are expensive, given the flimsiness of them.

I got these in order to clean my front porch without having to bend too much as I have a persistent back pain. The grabber handles are quite strong, lightweight and easy to use. Long enough so I do not have to bend over to pick up litter from the ground and the grabbing mechanism is quite precise so I can grab pretty much everything in a single try. Good value for money.

This set of 4 grabbers/litter pickers is so handy and great value. They're a good length and the grabbing motion is very good and effective, it's the better design of the two styles I've seen on the market.It's useful having more than one and means I can keep them where needed around the house and by the bin where, for some reason, strangers think they can throw their own rubbish which needs picking out and put in a black bag or it will just be left in the bin.These handy devices make life safer as they help me avoid falls because I don't need to bend thanks to using them. I don't have the best dexterity but have no problems using them.4* – Fantastic devices, great value set of 4 and they make my life safer and easier because I don't have to risk falls by reaching up or bending down as they do the job for me. They're also great at picking up litter. They don't look or feel like the strongest models so I'm not sure about durability but it helps having 4 which means they'll last longer than just relying on the same one. They're really a 4.5*. Recommended

Considering you get 4 pickers for the price at the time of this review, in my opinion, they represent good value for money. The quality is reasonable but not on par with other single items of a higher value. Nevertheless, these pickers are quite well built and very lightweight.One half of the gripper jaws has a rubber insert to help prevent slippage when gripping larger objects. The grip strength appears to be OK for simple tasks. There are also some very small magnets on the top set of jaws right at the very end. These are quite powerful but, in practice, not very effective.At the end of the day, if you rely on a picker for tasks throughout the day, perhaps because you have some mobility issues, then having 4 of these would be a good buy. I would recommend these if asked.

I live on a fairly nice estate but lately people living in the area haven't taken pride and litter is everywhere. That or it is driven by the wind. Either way it's sad.I had a notion of going round picking thing up, but I didn't want to be constantly bending over to clear other people's mess. So I kept an eye out for litter pickers on Vine. As luck would have it, they appeared in a drop and I nabbed them.A long parcel arrived, and inside was 4 litter pickers, each in it's own plastic bag which was unnecessary - think of the environment kids - and I immediately freed one for use.Now, the first thing that will hit you is just how flimsy these things are. If you sat on one it'll snap. If you apply even the slightest of pressure it will bend. They are not built to last.The trigger mechanism is pretty good but the grabber/gripper part is on the weak side. You aren't picking up anything like a full coke can reliably. This is purely for things like crisp packets, empty cans, and the like. I did find that attempting to pick up cigarette butts was futile as the pincers don't get close enough together. Also the magnet is so weak you are not picking up keys as seen in a photoshopped picture in the listing.These are out and out basic pickers.
