Durable but not perfect
Great build, easy to mount and easy to use. So far so good. Sadly, the equally critical part - how it actually alerts your surroundings - is not totally great. The bell gives off to sounds: first like a hammer hitting a screw, followed by a nice classical sort-of-short-lived sound of a bell.Basically, it gets the job done, will likely never break, but doesn't have just a clean bell sound. No big deal, but expected the bell sound itself to dominate and sustain longer. There have been at least one instance when the person ahead of me didn't get alerted.

This is a good bell - old school - I like it.
Traditional - this is a good bell, nice sounding and worth the extra few pounds.
