easy assembly, sturdy, perfect height to fit by my shoulder, between nightstand , yet still reach over for drink and through for things flat on table. The little light can dim low and set to motion, lights up entering the room and getting out of bed. Perfect assist device.

Got this bed rail for my mom. She recently had surgery and needs some help getting out of bed. This rail was easy and fast to assemble. I didn't permanently fix it to the bed - I just slipped it between the mattress and box spring. It's very sturdy and hasn't budged. There's a nice grip on it so you're not grabbing onto a metal bar. The light is a great idea (though I haven't actually attached mine yet). This rail isn't just for people who've had surgery or elderly people - it's for anyone who could use a hand getting up. Great value too.

Very simple to "install" and use to get into/out of bed. No big mess of equipment, no assembly. Very sturdy for this 5'6", 73 yr old soul. I didn't add on the light that came with it. Though it seems to work just fine, I have no need for it so stashed it away just in case.

The material is sturdy but the light is useless. The light could be much better. He ended up attaching another light he purchased separately but at least the rest does the job and he's happy.

This bed rail works great. My mom is able to grab it to turn herself over when she is in the bed. Very helpful when we need to put clothes on her and change bed pads. I recommend it. It is a great value for the money.

My elderly mother is having major mobility issues, so we're safety-proofing her house. She's has had many falls so I am skeptical of the many products that claim to be safe. This product is safe and works great! When installed properly, it's awesome. My mother is 215 lbs. I don't have to worry about her falling out of bed, or needing help getting into her bed. This allows her to be more independent, and it doesn't take up a lot of space.

For me this was the perfect size. Easy to assemble and to adjust.
