Phenomenal upgrade and a MUST HAVE fix for the defective dual sense edge back paddle structure. Installation can take 30-45 mins and all you're doing is replacing the factory housing for the paddles with this reinforced structure. The original lasted me about 150hours of heavy usage, and by comparison, I've used THIS product for 11 months now and over 1000 hours and I've had ZERO issues. Saved the controller for me which is great minus the defective paddle housing. This is an easy buy and I'd recommend it to everyone who bought the dual sense edge and use the back buttons.

Getting all the small parts to stay in place as you re-install them is a bit of a challenge (tweezers helped), but it's worth the frustration to save $200 on a new edge controller. New parts fit correctly.

Works well so far have 6 months or so of decent use on them have not broke yet.

Here's the real scoop on this product. Most importantly, it fits and works perfectly. The replacement hardware also includes a magnetic screwdriver, a pry tool to help open the controller, plenty of screws, and two release lever springs. I already had an electronic repair kit with a pair of tweezers designed for electronic repair which are a MUST for handling the small components in the controller. You should also invest in a mat with magnetic slots. The entire process took about 40 minutes. The only slight challenge was setting the release lever spring. This is where having the right tweezers comes in. I recommend watching the video through a few times and getting used to handling the tiny spring with tweezers. BEWARE - you will have to stretch the spring to get it back into place. The spring is prone to slipping off of the tweezers so, again, make sure you hold it where you can stretch it and secure the end you're holding around the pole on the controller.
