Foampro00083, 2", 2-Pack Edge & Trimmer Refills

I wanted this FOAM PRO 00083 2" roller for the flat end and the sharp edge. I was hoping to use for a special edging detail, but the overall material was too soft/porous.Also one of the refills had a defect in the roller tube. I couldn't get my roller handle on easily and when I could it wouldn't turn smoothly or track quite straight. And not worth the return hassle.Be nice if FOAM PRO made this exact shape in a denser foam like the FOAM PRO 185 which I used for a different application.Lastly this material makes it difficult to clean so clean asap if you want to re-use it.

They hold a lot of paint, but they are so porous that it is hard to use. I was trying to paint a strip on the wall just below the cealing. Maybe they would work for something else but for me they just made a mess. And I do know what I'm doing when it comes to painting.

Foam is not very dense. All those air pockets in the foam, leave behind too many air bubbles to get a smooth finish.Found a higher quality (same manufacturer) through Home Depot online. Those were perfect! Glassy smooth finish. Wish Amazon offered the upgraded rollers!

Way too porous. Not for smooth surfaces. Horrible finish. Good for rolling extremely coarse surfaces maybe

Ok in all regards vs high quality higher priced products. If you need the 2 inch size they will work ok

Meh, these are ok, the roller and the replacement pacs are fine for a very small job, if you have a big job then buy a better product for small areas.
