Microsoft Surface Laptop (2024), Windows 11 Copilot+ PC, 13.8" Touchscreen Display, Snapdragon X Elite (12 core), 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD Storage, Sapphire

This is my fourth laptop computer and by far the smallest and most lightweight which suits my need for carrying it everywhere and using it in sometimes awkward environments, in my car for example. The touch screen works and has high resolution and I have never had the battery die. The Copilot key is a handy as well.

Very nice… heavy for its size; but - true to weight

Pros: Screen is as good as retina display from MacBook Air. Long battery life. Fast computer with back lit keyboard. Cons: Snap Dragon Elite CPU is the newer ARM type processor the software industry is adopting to, but some older programs and drivers may not run on this computer. Expect that more and more software will run on it as it becomes more main stream.

Great! I love it!

Nice looks

I recently purchased this Microsoft Surface Laptop, and unfortunately, it hasn’t lived up to my expectations, especially when compared to competitors like the MacBook Air that it's been hyped to compete against. The camera is disappointing, especially when there’s even a slight drop in lighting. The image becomes blurry and not sharp at all. The Surface struggles unless you are in a very well-lit environment. The speakers are a major letdown. When you increase the volume, they produce a pathetic, squeaky vibration, making the audio experience unpleasant. This is a far cry from the premium sound quality you would expect from a laptop in this price range, and definitely not what i expected. Overall: Considering the high price and the competition, I regret choosing the Surface Laptop over the macbook air or Dell XPS 13, which offers much better performance in terms of camera, audio, and overall quality. If you're looking for a laptop that excels in these areas, the Surface is not the right choice for you.

Not worth the money I paid. There is not even a outlet for a speaker in it. It doesn't come with chrome. the charger is so fragile. There no place for a SD card, ethernet. It is really a basic plain Jane laptop. I like it, but there no accessories. Can't hook a printer up to it there is no outlet. Wouldn't buy it again.

Love this machine. I was worried going from Intel to Qualcomm due to compatibility issues I've read about, but I've experienced none of them. From a software perspective everything I use has either an ARM compatible version or emulation is working flawlessly. Adobe software is ARM native. Solidworks emulates well. From a hardware perspective-- it's 2025 and it sounds like some people with compatibility issues are stuck in 2010. My mouse is bluetooth, my printer is wifi, and external display via USB-C-- so no compatibility issues. The laptop build quality is fantastic and matches Macbooks. Battery life is fantastic. Computer wakes from sleep in about 2 seconds which was my biggest gripe with my old Intel-based Surface Pro 8, which sometimes took 30 seconds to realize I was trying to use it.

Cannot connect to our home network and cannot contact Microsoft support by phone. Obviously cannot use online support if can't connect. Now stuck with a useless device. Do not buy.
