Does it clean the curved edges from the pool bottom leading up the walls?

yes .. has a front roller/scrubber that will get that and also climb a bit above the surface and scrub the sidewalls. I have no complaints with this unit. The filters are also easy to clean .. though I bought spares ..not used them yet.

Does it include the power supply?

Yes. The blue cable runs from the Dolphin unit to the power supply.

Can this be used in a vinyl pool?

Yes, soft rubber scrubbing pads. I have a brand new pool, does well.

Does this robot hook up like a manual vacuum? I spend 4-5 hours cleaning algea out of my pool.

No... it has its own power cord, comes from the control box which plugs into a GFCI 110v power outlet. It has a converter that runs the machine, I think 24 V DC. Set the time, do clean the two filter after each use for best performance. We love ours! Well worth the $$$ You don’t have to baby sit it or watch it, climbs the walls and scrubs the tiles also...... Sit back, enjoy your time while it works!!! AAA+++ is my score!
