I have a fair bit of lock-installation experience, including quite a few of the newer digital deadbolts, but this one left me scratching my head ... mostly because the installation instructions are not well-written (for inexperienced installers, anyway) and printed in tiny type on a small piece of paper that was folded many times to make it as small as possible in the package. The installation itself -- if you don't need to make any modifications to the lock -- is relatively straightforward, although you'll be much happier if you have someone helping you; there are lots of pieces to line up and hold while you fasten it in the door.Where things get confusing is with changing the "hand" of the lock ... adapting it for a door that swings right instead of left. At that point, the instructions became more puzzling than helpful for me. I did manage to figure it out, eventually, but a few more minutes of the manufacturer writing, designing and checking the instructions would have raised my rating from 3 stars to 5.

This is a really great quality set and it was easy to install and to program. You won't be disappointed in this at all.
