What are sizes for polar heart rate monitir

I'm super emasculated by Anonymous as a man with a 32" chest. The medium was too big after some uses given they stretch out. These need to fit quite snug enough that they are slightly uncomfortable and after
about 5 minutes the uncomfortableness goes away.

Just tight enough not to slip is NOT tight enough if you want consistent, accurate readings. Also, check to make sure it is snug throughout your entire breathing cycle. A snug fit might feel loose when you breath very hard.

I now wear the XS-S with it set at a 25" circumference which with a 7" stretch. It still feels very comfortable (meaning I never noticed it) on my 4 hour+ mtb rides, though it's quite tight when I first stretch it on. This tight fit does not leave any marks on me, and I expect after about 10 more rides I'll need to shorten it up another inch, so make sure you have room to snug it up.

The M-XXL once clasped is
28.5" to 36.5" at it's longest adjustment. Add normal 6-8" inches of stretch, and you should be able to tolerate an appropriate fit at least up to 44.5", and probably larger. I think you guys with the mid 40" chest may not be used to how these straps should feel since the M-XXL is at least a couple inches big for me on its tightest adjustment.

******Too bad we even have to ask and answer this question though. It's super disappointing Polar does not accurately post what  chest measurent range each size strap properly fits (not too tight, not to loose),  how to take a proper measurements, and how to test you have a proper fit. We shouldnt each have to waste time googling. searching their documents and website, contacting their support, reading reddit, and asking amazon users and still not find a good answer.  And it's sad the one person from polar that responded here just through up a stretch range for each without more commentary on getting the proper size. I hope Polar will respond and put together a useful document for proper sizing.********

Does the strap provide continuous heart rate monitoring? Can I wear it 24/7?

You can wear it 24/7. Having worn a medical chest ECG monitor for 10 days, it was a bit awkward at first but got used to it. Depending on your expectations, such as accuracy, a chest monitor can't be beat. Tried wearing Fitbit Charge 5 and Apple iWatch 6 simultaneously during HIIT sessions for months, they both varied as much as 10 bpm from the other. Decided to go with chest monitor.

Question 3

To those with experience changing battery, is the flip cap easy to open/close? H7 used a coin slot on soft plastic, so edges rubbed off=hard to open

I found the H7 to be of the poorest design compared to the ease of changing the battery in the H10.  I can’t tell you how many of my clients disliked the H7.  I think you will love the ease of the H10 battery replacement.
