It does not ruin your leather, it sticks well enough to stay secure then when you need to peel it off, it comes off cleanly with no residue. If your on the fence, get it, it works!!!!

My cat is one of my favorite creatures on this planet. He is also a terror. His favorite hobby is destroying my stuff. I replaced my couch and don't want another shredded couch, so I gave these a try and they're awesome. Very effective and clear, so you can't even tell.

We have a hard leather sofa in the formal room and this stuff stuck great to the back of it where the kitty likes to climb up. It eliminated that problem completely and is staying there well with no issues and not noticeable when you walk behind the sofa. I had some left over and it does not stick as well to soft leather or fabric just beware. I think it is specified in the product description though so as long as you have that hard leather material you are trying to protect you shoudl be good.

I’ve ordered this three times. It works on fabric or leather. It goes on and comes off easily without damaging the furniture. This product is self training because cats don’t like the feel of the firm plastic. I was able to train my cat and then remove it. He quickly learned that leather furniture is no fun to scratch. Highly recommend!

I have a golden ret. puppy that loves to jump over my sofas at the center console or sit on it. Leather was getting scratched so I put this on the console top and no more scratching. You can not tell it is there, but is saving my new furniture.
