I absolutely love this begginer set. Comes with a 2 sided board that has pictures to show how to set up board and a side without for when you become more advanced at playing and setting up. Also came with cards that introduces each piece and there plays with symbols in the left hand corner to match there standings on the beginner side of the board. Great details on each player, Also has their little pegs that attach to the pieces so you dont have to constantly look at the cards to remind yourself where they can be moved across the board. All for only 20$ cause until I know we wanna stick to it i didnt wanna put alot of money into it.

Husband is 81 years & he taught me chess when first married. Though he still wins the majority of the games, I love that it builds his self esteem & confidence, while for me, it’s a way of recognizing, measuring (though not scientific), a level of cognition…Since purchasing board game, it is very lightweight & folds easily & the playing pieces are easily placed back in its box for portability.Only issue, with regards to our vision, is that it’s difficult to quickly & easily recognize some of the noble players in the first row.

I bought this for my Christmas party game night. The grandkids love HP and the adults didn’t mind playing. The grands love to send me down the slide.

I’ve played this game with my family. My little girl is a Harry Potter fan and she really liked this game. Good family time game.

Fun version. Box not the greatest for putting pieces back.

Beautiful set

Learned how to play chess with this set! It’s just like the movie. Best part is the detachable bases underneath that remind you which moves go with each piece.
