I like that it's an alternative to the expensive Miraclegro spray bottle. However, instructions on how much liquid or granular fertilizer to put in and where to set the dial at the top of the bottle would make a big difference.Loads of videos on tube re TV all of this, but quite nerdy and long, they try to answer the issue I have outlined.Would I buy again? Maybe life is too short to trawl through tube videos. Spend a bit more and save time

There indeed are no instructions for use. I am trying to fertilize the grass in my dog run without poisoning my dog. I have decided on liquid seaweed fertilizer. This is what I have managed to figure out.It's impossible to give accurate instructions, because everything depends on the pressure in the hose and your walking speed. The only way is to experiment over a prolonged period. However, here are some pointers.Fill the container with the fertilizer to a significant level, say 1/4 full. There has to be enough for the little straw to draw on.Set the dial on the sprayer to the recommended dose on the fertilizer bottle, say 10ml per gallon. The sprayer will automatically deliver the correct mix.Attach the sprayer, set the holes to the numerous little holes. This will deliver a spray similar to a watering can. Keeping the sprayer level, walk the same as if using a watering can. When the fertilizer is exhausted, the color of the spray will change.

I used to use the expensive alternative which eventually became unusable. As a cheap substitute this is perfect. I eventually figured out the dosage by trial and error. Pretty surprised about the complete lack of instructions, YouTube is equally confusing gave up on that as a waste of time.In conclusion the applicator is a definite 5 star.

Just what I needed. Works really well for various jobs around the garden.
