Excellent! Worked perfectly 1st time on steel drain plug.
Make sure you drill a clean hole in your bolt, or plug in my case, and select the correct extractor for that size. Lightly tap the extractor into the hole until the grooves are at least 50% inserted. Then simply using a 1/2" breaker bar and socket, rotate counterclockwise.

Works well!
A friend of mine had a bolt break off that held the blade on his lawn mower, leaving behind a broken bolt in the mount. This kit saved the day. I've used extractors before many times - I was a certified Harley Davidson tech. To fix my friends lawn mower, I first got a center punch and made an indentation in the center of the broken bolt - this gives me a place to put the reverse-fluted (left) drill bit. I always start with a small bit and try to drill through the absolute center of the broken bolt. Sometimes the reverse drill bit will bite into the broken bolt, causing it to unscrew. Not this time. So I used a larger reverse drill bit but still it didn't budge. The hole in the bolt was large enough now that I used the extractor, tapping it in with a small hammer so that it gets a bite into the bolt. I attached a wrench and unscrewed the broken bolt out of the lawn mower. This is a good kit to have around!

Decent set
This kit does not come with a handle. I have my own handle, so this isn't a problem, but worth noting for a review. I think that these screw extractor bits are of Okay quality, not great. I have tested them a couple of times and they got the job done, but I'm not sure if they will hold up to time and repeated use. We will see. Overall, they have worked so far. The price is reasonable for the quality of product.

Great set that can handle most size bolts or caps
I don't have to use an extractor often, but when I do, this is my go to set. Extremely easy to use by drilling a hole into the metal to be removed, then tapping in a slightly larger extractor from this kit, then hit to break and wrench out counter clockwise. I'm not sure how long these will last after multiple uses, but considering I'm not using them often, I think they are a great value.

This product works well!
This is one of those things to go ahead and buy even if you don't need it yet, if you do any DIY at all. The price was good. The product is well-made and comes with a nice little case. The instructions are actually pretty good, and useful. Keep those. I would caution you though that if you use a drill to operate this, make sure it is at its lowest speed and try to control the loosening. Good product, I'd buy again!

It’s a NO
I don’t believe the grooves in these bits are deeps enough or something! I couldn’t extract 1 single bolt with this set.
