ASICSWomen's Gel-Kayano 31 Running Shoes

I'm a daily walker (streets and sidewalk) and occasional runner. My husband (a runner) recommended these to me, and although I was hesitant to spending that much on a pair of shoes, I have to say that they are extremely comfortable, they offer great support and my foot feels snug yet contained. They have a taller sole than my previous NB shoes have, and that was strange at first, but after using them for one day, that no longer bothered me.I got the orange and white and they look pretty neat. I haven't washed them yet but might post a review update when I do.Pros:- lightweight- room in the toebox (I always order a size up for running shoes)- laces don't slide/become undone and stay put- no heel slip- good arch support- great sense of balance/stability- soft yet durable materials (so far)- good traction on sole- aesthetically pleasingCons- price (if you're on a budget - I got mine on sale on a Prime day)- white fabric may not stay white- shipping took 10 days (would have like to have them sooner, but that was ok)I really really like them and would recommend them to anyone who is undecided or on the fence, I don't think you'll regret it.

They feel comfortable, supportive, and I really like the color. I also like the little stretchy loop on the back of each heel—my last pair of sneakers lacked those loops, but they help me to slide my feet in more easily. Of course, I make sure the laces are loose. Then, I give that loop a light tug, and my feet just glide right in without needing to even give a wiggle. Just perfect.

I have tried several different shoes from different brands- Nike, brooks, saucony etc- in search of a running that shoe that supports my ankles-which tend to overpronate- and heels that need support. I've done about 4 runs with this shoe so far and have really felt the difference. My ankles aren't sore by the end of the run or having twinges of pain during, and my heels feel well cushioned. Certain shoes have either helped increase my speed or have led to a decrease for whatever reason- these did not detract from my speed and I think after a couple more runs with them I'll be able to continue my progression with speed increases.

The plastic end came off shoelace and I ordered my usual size of shoes and the top of the right shoe wrinkled across the big toe and the one next to it. I was very disappointed because in the last 2 years I have brought 5 pairs of Asics shoes from Amazon and have always been satisfied.

Asics improves this shoe with every new version. Worth every penny and I loved my initial pair so much I got another to alternate. Not only amazing utility but also the white ones are super cute.

Love this style and each update works for me. Very comfortable. Large toe box. The middle of my foot aches a bit while I’m getting used to this new pair. Wish there were cuter colors though.

Fits perfectly, no blisters through a marathon!

I have narrow feet that often cause me pain. These particular ASICS are, hands down, the most comfortable, stable, supportive shoes I’ve ever worn……and I’ve worn MANY brands and styles of athletic shoes. I was afraid they’d feel bulky, but they didn’t feel that way at all….unlike the gel kayano 30 (which I didn’t like). I do hate that ASICS will only make narrow shoes in black!! What’s up with that? We gals with narrow feet want pretty colors, too! I’m thinking about buying a backup pair because they sell out so fast and this shoe is amazing. I did switch out the insole and replaced it with the expensive one that I prefer.

Love these shoes! The ASICS Kayano came recommended by many online reviews. Bought them to get back into running after injuries and issues with previous shoes. Tried the older model (30) but this one is even better. Feels like a slipper and like you’re walking on clouds. Can’t wait to try them out running! Only thing was Canada Post service in my area. It’s always longer then it should be. It was delivered to one city and coded as ‘attempted delivery and wrong address’ when delivery was never attempted. I was asked to confirm my address. After doing so, it was transferred to other city same distance from us and delayed delivery by 2 days. I know this is only due to Canada Post boundaries and not because it was a wrong address.

Best pair of running shoes I have ever owned. Great comfort and arch support.

I have been a fan of the Kayano line of shoes since Kayano 28,purchasing the 29, 30, and now the Kayano 31 which just keeps getting better. In my nursing field I put my new shoes on and did not feel my feet at all through my entire shift and here I am still wearing them 4 hours later. These shoes are just so comfortable

My feet are long, flat and I seriously overpronate. Their not feet you can take to any store and expect shoes to fit, but and give the correct support. I started wearing Asic's Kayano runners many years ago and have stuck with them ever since, even if I had to purchase the men's shoe instead of the womens. Where I live a pair of these shoes will cost you $300+. What I checked Amazon and discovered the same shoes for a considerably lower price, I knew where to buy my next pair.
