This is the one.
I was on a search tryna find a decent privacy and uv block shade for the past 2 weeks. Others claimed their product blocked the sun out. This one does a MUCH better job blocking out the sun AND providing you privacy. The others were only providing minimal shade and allow the sun to still go through. This one becomes of the color it somewhat reflects and provides better privacy. The quality is also solid! The poly cord isn't loose and does not move around like the other ones do.. Installing this was easy as well.

Provides shade. Retaining bag is cheap
This is a decent product for the price. Most of the accessories — and especially the bag it comes in — are very low-quality, but the screen does what it says it will do. I ended up not using it for any length of time because I was worried about the weight of it on my awning damaging the withdrawal mechanism. I have a winnebago revel with an auto-retraction (it will withdraw automatically if there is a lot of wind) and just don't think adding weight to it is a good idea, and if I weren't fast enough to interrupt the retraction before detaching this extra piece, I worried that it would jam my canopy motor. So it wasn't exactly right for me. Had it been a bit lighter, I'd have hung it, but maybe any lighter would have been hard to fix in place.Storage for this isn't so hot because the provided bag is like light plastic wrap and not meant for the rigors of van travel. If your canopy mechanism is tented or more rigid / structured, this could still work for you assuming you use a better storage bag.

Complete game changer. Do not know what we did without it.
I bought the Home on Wheels RV Awning Sun Shade Screen six months ago, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This shade screen has been a lifesaver during hot summer days, providing us with much-needed shade and privacy. The UV blocking feature is excellent, and it has helped keep our camper cooler. The quality of the material is top-notch, and it has held up well despite regular use. The installation was straightforward, and the complete kit made it easy to set up. I'm impressed with the 5-year warranty, which gives me peace of mind. I highly recommend this shade screen to anyone looking for a durable and effective sun shade for their RV awning.

If you don't have one of these, get one!
Every time I go camping, it is inevitable that sun will be blasting in my face at the hottest time of day. Combining this side awning shade with my front awning shade gives me and my family excellent shade from the hot sun. The size is perfect for my awning and installation and removal is simple. If you like some shade while camping, get one of these! But also get the one that attaches to the end of the awning or in the awning track and you'll be covered!

Great Sun Shade!
So many times, I put out the awning on my rig so I can relax in a chair, only to discover that the afternoon sun has made its way underneath- on one side, or the other. I hate that! So when I saw this 'Shade Screen Side Panel', I grabbed it! Along with the sun screen panel, you get an accessory bag- filled with a lightweight rope and several light-duty stakes, plus a [very thin] clear, zippered storage bag- with a handle. Honestly, regarding that storage bag, I was afraid I'd tear it- stuffing everything in. Amazingly, it did not tear... But it feels like it's made out of kitchen-grade plastic wrap, so I don't hold out much hope of it lasting too long. Fortunately, the sun screen panel is a different story. It seems very well-made and highly durable. The panel is made of that rough, woven screen-type material... the kind that can take decent abuse from sun and wind. The panel is also heavily reinforced- including double-stitching all the way around the perimeter of the panel. And there are heavily-reinforced grommets and D-rings at the corners- for tying and staking this panel in place. Truthfully- in a really strong wind, I think my rig's awning assembly would rip apart before this panel does. As shown in the pictures from the listing, the panel is more trapezoid, than square. There's a definite "up"-side, meant to work with the angle of your awning. If you want everything perfect, you'll have to play with raising (or lowering) your awning supports to get that "seamless" fit. Otherwise, this panel is pretty universal in nature, and can be hung anywhere you'd like some shade. With that in mind, you don't have to hang it on your RV's awning, either. It'll work on an "Easy-Up" canopy, too- though the sizing may not be precise. But it's shade, right? Speaking of shade, this panel does a great job of softening the sun! It's not a solid block, and that's good. I can still see the beautiful scenery surrounding me, but it keeps the sun at bay. This panel makes for a good privacy screen, too- since it is harder to see through than regular screen. It is great that the stakes are included, since they keep the panel from flapping in the breeze- a must have. The size of the panel is generous, aw well. It works great with the awning on my high-wall tent trailer. I am very happy with this screen, and might even pick up a second panel, for the other side!

Seems like it will work well
Right before this came the awning on our RV broke so we haven't been able to use it properly, but it looks well made and like it should do the job well. Will update review when it's been in action.

Sets up easy
Installs easy with one person. Well made. In a pinch, it does roll up with the awning but I would only do this for overnight or temporary passing storms etc, not for travel. It blocks the direct sun rays well but allows you to see through it. It's almost like adding a room to our RV. Great product!
