Searching for Beautiful Review: Searching For Beautiful is book number three in author Jennifer Probst’s Searching ... - Searching For Beautiful is book number three in author Jennifer Probst’s Searching For series and I loved, loved, loved this book. Loved. Never in her wildest dreams did Genevieve MacKenzie think her life would be in this much of a mess. She never thought she would have been about to marry an emotionally abusive man, never thought she would have walked out of her wedding, never thought she would be letting everyone around her down. She wasn’t that girl. She was the one with her head on straight and always succeeded in everything she did. And yet here she was….a mess. Luckily she had Wolfe by her side. Her best friend was always by her side though. And she loved him for it. And with things in such turmoil around her, she needs it more than ever. The thing was she really needed to stop her thoughts from dipping into friends with benefits territory. She had just left her fiancée, she shouldn’t be thinking about Wolfe that way. Man, it was hard…. Wolfe never had anything to thank fate for…until now, when he sees his best friend escaping out of the wedding chapel window and begging him to take her away. Fate got a high-five for this. Since Gen’s fiancée had tried to limit the time they spent together, he hadn’t seen her in entirely too long. But now she needed him nd he would move heaven and earth to make her happy and whole again. She never came out and said it, but he knew her fiancée was a controlling jerk. Now he had her back in his life, and he would be her knight in shining armor…even if he was anything but. And he would cherish every minute they had together because as awful as it made him, he would never stop thinking about Gen and never quit wondering if he could be the type of man worthy of someone like Gen. But he never would be… Together, Gen and Wolfe have a chance. A chance at love. A chance at a happy ending. But will they take it? I’ve been a huge fan of author Probst’s writing for a few years now. She writes amazing characters with depth and emotion. Story lines that are interesting and entertaining. She ways delivers a great read. But this book was by far, her best book yet. There were so many layers in this highly emotional story that I just couldn’t stop reading and was devouring every page. Wolfe broke my heart. He’s an amazing character with a childhood that, the way Ms. Probst wrote it, had me crying big ugly tears and wanting to reach through the pages and hug him. The horror he endured was unimaginable and made me want a happy ending for him with a desperate passion. Gen was equally amazing. The situation she found herself in was one that too many women find themselves in and in writing her story, Ms. Probst gives a voice to the many victims of domestic violence. The relationship between Gen and Wolfe grew from friends to lovers in such a delicious pace that when they finally make the jump into a physical relationship, it was sublime. Smoking hot and charged with emotion, I adored them together! There are many stumbles along the way for these two, but I knew Ms. Probst would give them the happiness they were so worthy of. If there’s one book you pick up after reading one of my reviews, I hope this is it. With so much to love in this story, I highly recommend it. Thank you, Ms. Probst, for one hell of a fantastic read! Review: Best Friends with Benefits! - 4.5 stars This is the 3rd book in the Searching For series by Jennifer Probst. I love the premise of 3 friends and their matchmaking service. The ladies are all strong women and each book has its share of humor and BFF moments. I have read the whole series so far and I adore the author and her writing style. This book had a bit more suspense to it than the previous two. Wolfe and Gen have been best friends for years. Gen and her fiancé were in the previous books and it was evident that something was going on with Gen. This book starts out with Gen sneaking out of the church on her wedding day. If you are thinking this is a run-away bride story, it starts out that way but turns into a much more meaty tale of healing and the power of friendship. Of course, Gen gets a big old helping hand from Wolfe in the process. They quickly start to realize that they are best friends and extremely attracted to one another. Neither wants to lose the friendship but they cannot deny the sexual chemistry between them. The sexual tension explodes off the page until these two give in. Wolfe has some issues related to relationships and commitment but man---that dude is one smoking hot, sensitive guy, with a heart of gold! Wolfe was the perfect Hero for this story. I loved his flaws and cheered him through his Come to Jesus moment! It took most of the book, but both Gen and Wolfe were so close on a friend level, it only made sense that they would work well together as lovers. I thought the author handled a delicate, trigger subject manner fairly well. I wished for some additional conversations or support for women in similar situations. Gen had the support her BFF’s Wolfe and Kate but many women do not even realize they are in situations that aren’t typical in relationships. By far the best book in the series for me. Looking forward to Arilyn’s tale coming in June.

LOVE!!! So Intense. DEVOURED it. I have tears as I try to write this. SO GOOD! My smile did not leave my face!!!! Oh Wolfe. I KNEW it was going to be heart-breaking. So many emotions from this wonderful, heart-wrenching journey with him. Genevieve, a worthy heroine for our sweet, broken Wolfe!! We met, and FELL IN LOVE with Wolfe, in the Marriage Merger (Marriage to a Billionaire series, Sawyer Bennett's story) And I have been DYING to read this!!!! Wolfe is the type of HERO that we all dream of having. Intense, Passionate and Loyal. <3 I LOVED the Marriage to a Billionaire series and LOVED the Searching for series. Lots of smiles and happy tears!! And I LOVED getting to see some of the characters from the Marriage series and the girls are all there from the Searching for series. This is a beautiful group of books. I whole-heartedly recommend them .. ALL!! I knew it was going to be great, and gut-wrenching! Jennifer Probst is a genius with words. I love the way she captivated my attention, my heart, my panties.... everything was in a lovely sweeeeeet bunch!!! Loved every minute of it. Even the villain. He was vile and that made you CHEER when he got his a**kicking! I am so glad this series isn't done yet, Can't wait for Searching for Always!

Well Done! Lest selbst, es wird sich für euch lohnen.

4.5/5 Wow just WOW. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Wolfe’s story from the moment I laid my eyes on that beautiful, broken boy, and I have to say it was well worth every agonising moment. Not only the revelations about Wolfe but the abuse Gen suffers from as well made my heart hurt. Gen and Wolfe have a connection from the moment they meet; however, neither want to admit to just how powerful their feelings are when they don’t feel ‘worthy’ of the other, so they settle on friendship and for the most part it works fine. Allowing them both to create their lives while having each other as safety nets. It is easy for an outside observer to see just how perfect they are for each other if only they could break free from the shackles of the past. This outsider knowledge together with the chemistry smoldering between Gen and Wolfe creates a heart-aching tension within the narrative. It was painful to witness the trauma Wolfe suffered at a young age; his barriers are brutally understandable. No-one should have to endure the things he did especially lacking parental protection. Although, it is Gen’s abuse that is ingeniously portrayed within the plot. Jennifer Probst manages to convey the serious is of emotional manipulation and undermining self-confidence in a way that clearly conveys that IT IS ABUSE. So many times similar situations are brushed under the carpet due to the master of the manipulation, creating the picture they want seen rather than the machinations at play. It is scary to witness just how clever someone has to be in order to control the situation to such an extent. The term sociopath comes to mind. I adored Gen and loved how she was able to reclaim herself, especially how she was guided by her inner voice ♥ The inclusion of the characters from the previous books alongside those in the Marriage to a Billionaire series added depth including the importance of good family and friends. Searching for Beautiful has paved the way for Searching for Always due for release at the end of June. I cannot wait to see the fireworks Arilyn is going to cause. As well as catching up with some of my favorite characters – SWOON ♥

This is by far the book that contains most emotions in the searching for series. It is not only about love, but it is also about friendship, family, loyalty, manipulation, jealousy, family values...and many more...The characters are so complicated, tortured, human...You will learn that everything in life is not either black or white. In order to be happy, you will need to search for what is beautiful in all the shades of grey.
