This was a gift for my son. He only comments to me if he doesn't like something and then has me return it. Well, he hasn't said a word. He takes this solar power unit kayak camping where he has to take everything he needs and it must be very lightweight and compact. I would say, he is pleased with it.

I'll admit that when I bought this solar panel, I didn't have high expectations because of the 30 watts and because of the price point but I have to say that it had no problem charging my iPhone from the built in USB port. I also tried it with my iPad and while an iPad charges a bit slower due to the difference in battery capacity, this little solar panel didn't balk at the challenge. I purposely bought this brand because I bought their power station (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B8YM8SHP?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2) and figured this solar panel would work with it. This solar panel has no problem charging their power station so I feel good about using this in the event of a power outage to charge my devices and the power station. I also bought a 100 watt portable solar panel by a different manufacturer for charging higher capacity items like my MacBook and while it does charge at a higher rate (70 more potential watts of power), it is definitely unwieldy and difficult to set up because of its size. It is much larger and has 5 panels that you have to balance and try to get standing upright while it flexes at every foldable joint. The 30 watt panel is so much smaller and easier to manage than the big 100 watt panel.

This was the most useful thing I took on my camping trip. I was able to charge my phone and inflate my mattresses. It’s the perfect size to pack and carry around and it lasts a good amount of time. The setup is pretty self explanatory super simple. Worth every cent

This did work good. I did return it because I ended up needing more to charge my bigger battery. Folded to a decent size. Ended up going with 2 slim 130w panels imstead

DO NOT PURCHASE TAKKI PRODUCTS. The product doesn't work - even in full sun. Tried with multiple cords. A little green light turns out at the USB / lightning port, and your item (i.e. phone) will momentarily indicate it is being charged, and then it drops the charge. Every time. And apparently I missed the return "window" so now I have a useless solar panel. Do not buy this.

Works great with the battery pack I bought for it, it's lightweight and easy to set up with easy to follow instructions. It does take a few hours to build up a decent charge prior to use but otherwise perfect what I'm using it for.
