I was a little concerned when I found out that I had to season the pan 1st but the insert told me the steps and when it was done the pan didn't look any different but so far nothing has stuck to it. It's a well made pan and a good weight! It makes me happy to know that my family is safe from all the bad chemicals that normally are on a non stick pan! I would definitely recommend it!

Ive used it several times and it's amazing. I left some refried beans on low heat for about an hour because I thought that I had turned it off. The beans were black and crispy burned. The slid right off into the garbage. I cooked on it the next day and cooked eggs, potatoes and bacon. Nothing stuck, still like new.

I never write reviews, but feel that you have to know that these fry pans are the best pans I have ever owned. They cook beautifully...brown up foods wonderfully and they are no stick, safe and easy to clean. As with any pans you should preheat long enough (4-5 minutes) before adding fat and the pan will become non-stick and ready to go! Again, the best pans I have ever bought...and I have tried them all (and wasted a lot of money)!

These are horrible. They came with seasoning instructions, even though on the commercial it says no seasoning necessary. I went through the process anyway. With every use so far, just cooking some basic eggs, and coating the pan well with oil, it still sticks. Ruins eggs every time. These are horrible, save your money

The media could not be loaded. After 3 weeks using this cookware, I would definitely buy it again.= PROS and HINTS =- They are non-stick WITHOUT the need for seasoning (see CONS). Watch my video with the egg. The egg in the video was egg #2 after I had used a tiny (teaspoon at most) bit of butter on the pan for egg #1. The egg slides right off the pan.- Cleanup is easy. Just rinse with water. I use soap, of course, but water get all the food off. We've cooked some tough sauces, rice, etc and so far it all just rinses off. I do not put them in the dishwasher even though the instructions say you can.- I have followed other users' advice and pre-heated the pots/pans first using medium heat.- I have not yet tested the limits of heat - going only to a 6 of 10 on the burner setting, but heat distribution has been good.- Of course the primary reason I bought these was because of the non-stick properties without toxic coatings. And so far that promise has been fulfilled.= CONS =- The Flavortown website is abundantly clear - you do NOT need to season these pans to make them non-stick. Just a little oil or butter when using them and you are good to go. However, the box comes with with instructions that say you MUST season the pans prior to use. Confusing! I suggest you do NOT season them (see PROS).- The Flavortown website support is completely useless. They will not respond to you at all. I emailed them to ask about the confusion with the non-stick description vs instructions and never received a reply. So do not expect them to help at all.- The lids (intended for the pots) are not totally secure on the pans. But they do fit if you need to use them for the pans.- They do not stack well. Storage is a pain. Other sets nestle together nicely. These do not.- The 5 qt sautepan is too big for my needs. It is larger than my largest burner. I'm used to a 4 qt pan. But it still works well and if you need a 5 qt sautepan, then this isn't a problem at all.

You season the pans before using, which only takes a couple of minutes per piece. There is a video on the internet as to how Guy recommends you season them. Once seasoned, these pans are awesome. They practically wash themselves with just water. Food, even baked on or left with macaroni and cheese overnight (Oops), they clean up beautifully with no effort. It says you can use metal utensils. I don’t have any because I’ve had to use silicone or plastic with every other cookware I’ve ever owned, but I feel certain it would be safe to use them. It is a little heavy, but I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and have weak hands. It may not be a problem for others. I really hesitated to spend this much on cookware. I usually just buy a nice set around $100 and donate or throw away when they start to look scratched. So spending almost $300 for cookware was something I had to consider. I shouldn’t have worried. I feel certain this set will last for many years. Highly recommend you get this set, you will not regret it if you love to cook!!!

I've been putting this sauce pan through its paces for months and it really does live up to the advertising. I have used a metal wisk while making Thai peanut sauce - no scratching, and no sticking. I have burned brocolli when I forgot to add a little water to steam it - the burn marks came off easily with a non-scratch pad and there are no blemishes in the finish. It regularly gets bumped and rubbed inside by a smaller saucepan I keep nested in it - zero scratches. My only wish is that they would make it in three sizes (1 qt, 2qt and 3qt). It really is an amazing non stick surface that is not leaching forever chemicals into whatever I cook!
