Yaesu VX-8DR Mini-Manual and Card Combo by Nifty Accessories Paperback

I love these Nifty Mini-Manuals, as they cover the radios in a more functional format than the factory manuals for me. Consistently well-done. Unless you deal with one radio, all day, every day, you forget some functionalities. It's worth the relatively small investment to gain the functionality without having to pan through pages of pdf files or (if you are luck to still have them) paper. I am a big fan of the sturdy structure of the books which allow you to carry them with you and the handheld or mobile without becoming destroyed. The micro spine allows the book to lie flat - a huge plus while you are trying to hold the radio and hit buttons. The QR cards that accompany the books are great.The only criticism I have in general is that, as I get older, for some reason the print gets harder to read. But the same thing is happening to the radios. What's that all about?Jokes aside, these are very useful and worth the price you lay out for them. N6FN and Nifty Accessories has always done a great job with this and all the manuals in the series. I have them for each of my rigs as well as each of my handhelds.

This manual is almost a necessity. Whereas the factory manual is something one should keep handy, the Nifty manual is much easier to find needed information in, whenever it's needed.Personally, I have one for each HT and TX that I presently own, and will add another to the collection soon!

It's a little pricey but it is nice. I'd buy it again for sure.

Excellent quick reference for a somewhat complicated (to operate) radio.
