Saved the day.
I bought this detector and when I received it, I just put it to the side and forgot about it. It was an impulse buy and saved the day. My contractor was replacing the sand on my beach removed a foot off the top and replaced the sand. 2 hours into the job and he realized the phone fell out of the cup holder of his tractor. I see him kicking around in the sand and ask him what's going on. Needless to say, my wife remembers the metal detector I bought and brings it out. The charge was enough and within 2 minutes we found the phone. What a life saver.

Soo much fun!!
This is my first detector so I don't know what to compare to! It was very easy to assemble and the instructions were easy to learn!! The kids had a ball discovering anything they could find!

TANTALUM!
My husband lost his wedding band in the yard and we thought we’d never find it. Our grass is very dense. I bought this metal detector, though everything I’ve read said tantalum would not show up on a metal detector. It reads as a “70” and I FOUND IT!!!! Oh my goodness! Amazing!

Original battery life is suspect
This metal detector works very well and has useful modes. The DISC mode is very useful since it allows the user to eliminate detections that are not of interest to. Unfortunately, the two 9 volt batteries provides only showed 2 bars when installed. Within 5 minutes the battery indicator only showed one bar and started flashing. When tested they both indicated that they should be replaced. Fortunately, I had two new batteries in my battery caddy that showed a full charge when installed. For the price, I would recommend this detector but just be sure to be ready to replace the batteries shortly after the easy assembly and initial operation.

Easy to use.
Great metal detector. Super easy to use and understand. Easy to assemble. Glad it comes with a backpack and a shovel which is for sure a plus. The backpack is big too.

Not bad for beginners. Actually a pretty good deal
Honestly, I have a very expensive detector that keeps breaking on me and I bought this as a side one. For 80$ it has some pretty good features. It's for a beginner, but I'm getting too old to do long, deep digs. I do lots of surface coins ( on tot lots). It comes with accessories and batteries. Honestly, I'm pretty pleased with this. Don't expect professional quality, but you'll find coins and jewelery. I didn't get a Manuel though. Can you guys send me a manuel??,
