Perfect for kitchen aid
Nice solid metal, fits nicely on my kitchen aid. Fine grinds gain for brewing small bathes and for baking flour that perfect for baking. Easy cleaning. Not loud when grinding. Easy to set up and use.

Works Like a Charm!
This kitchenaid attachment is awesome! It is so well made, super sturdy. It was simple to figure out, attaches easily to my mixer and very quick to remove when done. I've been making as much of my own food as possible from scratch so having this opens up so many more possibilities! I love all the different settings, making it incredibly customizable for each task. It works quickly and efficiently and I am so happy I bought this!

Quiet, a bit slow, great way to start milling
I'm new to milling and baking with fresh-milled flour, so I didn't want to drop hundreds on a stand-alone grain mill in case I decided not to keep up with this hobby. I thought this was a great price point for entry, as it's $25 cheaper than the official Kitchenaid attachment.Pros:- It's a lot quieter than I expected- Takes up much less space than a stand-alone mill- Great priceCons:- Runs hot and with a burny smell. The product description says not to run it for more than 45 minutes without taking a break for it to cool down. I only ran it for about 10 minutes before taking a break because I was afraid of burning out the motor or burning down my kitchen. Luckily, that was enough time to grind what I needed for that day.- Adjustment wheel is finicky. It's hard to get it to move; you have to kind of mess with it. After the first use, the knob sits crooked now. I may need to try to take it apart and reassemble it to get a better fit.Overall, I recommend this product for light use. If you're going to be baking bread several times a week, you might want to invest in a separate mill. I'm hoping this will hold up for me until I'm more "ingrained" in FMF baking.

Ineffectiveness of milling
This mill does NOT mill the wheat berries fine enough to be called flour. It leaves bread grainy. Things still taste okay, but NOT like bread in consistency due to lack of mills grinding ability. I would NOT recommend this mill to anyone.

Grinder attachment
This attachment is very easy to use and it’s easy to attach to my KitchenAid mixer. I love that it has different functions and it actually works really well. I like to grind up my own wheat and actually grinding up corn seems to work also. You could also use this to Grind up coffee grounds. The quality is really nice and easy to wash by hand with warm water.

Great Affordable Option
Great affordable starter option or for someone who plans to just mill smaller amounts of grain at a time IF you already have a kitchen aid stand mixer. The quality of the mill is decent. You get what you pay for. I have had it a few weeks now and use it almost daily, sometimes more. It gets the job done. The grind consistency is good. It is easy to use. You simply set your grind setting on the front and pour your wheat berries in the top. The flour comes out the bottom. You do need to be aware for a fine flour you will need to grind 3 times ( corse, medium, and fine). The instructions say it can be used up to 45 minutes before you need to cool your mixer. I would recommend much less time. I typically grind 3 cups of hard wheat berries (produces 4½ cups of fine flour) which takes about 8-10 minutes. The mixer is noticeably warm when I'm done. It is easy to clean. It comes with a cleaning brush. I disconnect the mill and turn it upside down and dust it out with the brush. While using the flour dust does go everywhere!

It functions as described
I am really trying to like this item since I made a large wheat berry purchase.Pros: connects to kitchen aid and grinds the wheat, all metal parts, seems durable, good price compared to kitchen aid modelCons: too close to kitchen aid, small hopper, would be great if the drop was longer or something could be easily attached to dispense to reduce dust spreadI have been grinding batches of 10cups for 3 loads of bread recipe. It takes about 10 minutes on low to grind the 10 cups (1200 grams) of wheat. And per user manual should grind 3 to 4 times to get a good consistency. Which means to grind flour for 1 recipe it takes 30 to 40 minutes plus cool down time on the mixer. As my kitchen aid is hot after the 10 minutes of grinding.I am on the fence about returning it and buying a standalone grinder.

Easy to attach and clean
Super easy to attach and use. Made oat flour so far. I love that I can make it all myself and then the cleanup is pretty easy with hot water !
