Shilajit Resin
I know this resin is marketed for men primarily, but I thought I would give it a try to see if it helped with the results I desire. I have noticed a few improvements, so I am hopeful for long term use. But, it is a thick tarlike substance that is very sticky. It came with a tiny spoon which is helpful when measuring. I add it to warm, almost hot, water each morning. It does take some vigorous stirring to get it off the spoon, but it will eventually blend in. For those wondering about the taste, it actually tastes like what one would think tree bark would taste like. I do not find it offensive at all and I basically just shoot it so the flavor doesn't last long. I would recommend.

Seems to be good quality, but just a little different than I'm used to
Shilajit has been having a massive surge in popularity lately. As a vine reviewer, I've had access to a LOT of different shilajit products that are trying to break into the market. Unfortunately, what I've noticed with the vast majority of them is that they are not authentic shilajit products. Many people may have never had shilajit before, so perhaps these companies are trying to take advantage of ignorance by making products that SEEM like real shilajit...A few general things you should pay attention to whenever you buy shilajit from a company that is new to you:1) Shilajit should NOT taste good! This is a big one. A lot of the fake products I've tried have had a sort of sweet taste. Okay, maybe not pleasant, but authentic shilajit simply doesn't taste good. You might get used to the flavor over time like myself, but expect for it to almost taste like a combination between asphalt and dirt. It's not tasty and that's a good thing2) Another big one – Pay attention to the form of the shilajit you’re buying. Most fake Shilajit is offered in easily counterfeited tincture (liquid) or powder (sometimes in capsules) forms. But in recent years, the resin form has also been commonly imitated. My suggestion would be to ONLY buy shilajit in the resin form unless you are buying from a very reputable brand.3) Shilajit should dissolve in warm water, but it should take a bit of time and not be instant. If you dip a spoon of it into a glass of hot water you should see it forming little tendrils downward as it dissolves. Even if you stir the spoon around in the water for a couple seconds with it on it still shouldn't dissolve immediately.4) Shilajit has a unique pliability and viscosity to it. Typically, in between your fingers it will get soft and malleable, but put it in the fridge and it becomes rock hard and brittle. This isn’t always the case, but I’m typically more wary of products that flow more easily (like honey). Most of the good quality shilajit I’ve had is kind of like soft tree sap and will not flow freely if you tilt the jar.Now regarding this particular product:My first impressions of this product were positive; it arrived in good condition and the smell/taste seemed similar to what I expect from a authentic product (There's always a bit of variation for smell and taste). The consistency of this product is a little bit thinner than what I prefer, but it wasn't so runny that it was raising any alarms, and the viscosity increases with exposure to air or cold as it should. It also seemed totally correct in the way it dissolves in hot water; takes a little while, bit does fully dissolve. Overall, this shilajit seems more authentic/pure than many other samples I've been sent and it's something I've felt safe enough to actually incorporate on a daily basis (been feeling good from it as well). Seems to be a great deal for the price, but perhaps not the highest quality product I've used.

Good quality, but TINY quantity. Super small jar that was only 1/4 full (if that)
The product seems high quality and I’ve noticed a positive effect, but the quantity is really underwhelming. The jar is *extremely* small, and mine was only about a quarter full when it arrived. I don’t have a scale to measure the weight, but if by chance it was the correct amount, I think the packaging should be adjusted to reflect this -- as a consumer it's confusing to receive packaging that is predominantly empty and causes concern that it's either used or there was a manufacturing error.

Liquid Form and Higher Vulvic Acid
I've taken Shalijit as part of my daily regimen for over a year now and have been experimenting with certain brands and manufacturers. I have been taking pills but upon recommendation of a friend, who highly suggested the liquid form, I am now convinced that the liquid form has faster and better absorption. This Shalijit also has 75% vulvic acids compared to 50% found in the pills. Not a medical endorsement, but for me the use of Shalijit has added increased stamina during workouts. This particular brand is easily palatable by mixing into coffee, tea or whatever liquid drink you prefer.

Great looking product, a bit small on the overall amount of Shilajit
Empire Elixir’s Pure Himalayan Shilajit Resin definitely nails the presentation, with its sleek packaging that looks like a little jewelry box, complete with a golden spoon for easy dosing. The resin itself is thick and dark, kind of like super dense honey, and the quality seems top-notch. It’s labeled with GMP certification, and it’s clear that it’s sourced from India, which is great. However, the jar is only 20g, which feels a bit on the small side, especially when you consider other brands offer larger amounts for a similar price. If you’re new to Shilajit, this could be a great starting point, especially since the packaging makes it perfect for gifting. But if you’re a regular user, you might find the small quantity a bit disappointing, given the cost. The quality is there, and many people rave about the benefits like boosted energy and better overall wellness, but if you’re looking for more bang for your buck, you might want to explore other options that offer a bit more product for the price.
