Best pan!
I am so glad I went with this cast iron pan instead of a cheaper one. This bakes my bread perfectly! I was looking for a loaf pan for sourdough and now I use this one every weekend. It's a great value for the cost, easy to clean, and with parchment paper nothing sticks to it. I would definitely buy again and will probably buy another at some point, to bake two loaves at once.

Works great as designed or as just a base
I get great results as is or I use one half as the base. I then use a steel loaf pan as a lid, making 2+ loaves or more at a time

Worth it
Used for the first time. Made sourdough bread. Came out perfect. Very heavy cast iron. I did season it before I used it.

good buy with great results!
I have been baking sourdough bread for several months now. I've baked it in a traditional dutch oven, an overly expensive 'bread oven', cast iron loaf pan saddled within a granite turkey roaster, 2 cheap loaf pans (one sitting on top of the other) and this cast iron loaf pan with a lid. This loaf pan with lid produces wonderful results, very close to a traditional dutch oven bake. A bonus is it provides a lot more space in your oven to baking multiple loafs simultaneously! Also, the price is fantastic compared to similar products. Would definitely recommend to other sourdough enthusiasts!

Well made cast iron loaf pans.
Very nice loaf pans with great instructions for anyone not familiar with cast iron. The first thing I did was wash them and then season them a couple more times. I can hardly wait to use them for some sourdough bread.
