Not sure how many Neutons of force is required to take this thing off the phone but it’s very powerful. With a specs case on an iPhone 16 pro max, it holds very well with absolutely no movement. I actually held on the back of the mount to try and shake it off with no success. Absolutely a strong magnet and if your phone falls off while driving, you’re probably flipped over and that the least of your concerns. Great product for sure.

UPDATE 10/24/24: I suspected that the phone doesn't hold - not because of the magnet strength, but rather because of how the phone was positioned. The bottom of the phone was laying against a curved part of the dashboard.Every small bump caused the mount to shake vertically as well, and the curvature had pushed away the phone from the mount - causing it to drop.After repositioning the mount on the vent, and making sure it won't possibly get pushed away by small bumps, the sturdiness became apparent and the phone hasn't dropped for me since. Even with the case on.Super satisfied, and updating the rating!----Original review:Honestly, I really wanted this to work.I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and I loved this mount for the first few weeks. It held the phone well.I'm not really sure what had changed, but the magnet became weaker afterward.Random bumps in the road or small speed bumps in parking lots caused the phone to drop countless of times.Initially, I assumed it had something to do with my case (Even though it supports MagSafe!). So I removed it and started driving without it.But when it suddenly dropped even without the case, I realized something was defective with the mount's magnet and not my phone.It turned out quite disappointing for me and I wouldn't buy it again.I'd recommend others to get a different mount with a stronger magnet.

Works great and as expected with Magsafe/Qi2 devices, at 15W.Backwards compatibility with older Qi devices limited to 5W on my Pixel 5 which is not sufficient to top up while using navigation. Older iOttie Qi cradles provided 7.5W which was sufficient to trickle top up, this one trickle discharges.

It was great for a few weeks, but in less than a month the pull of the magnetism from the iphone pro (probably would have broken even sooner if I had the pro max) pulled the magnet away from the housing.I would potentially chalk it up to a one-off problem but as you can see from the pictured, they are just using tiny plastic pins to hold it together. With the strength of the magnet it is an obvious design flaw not to use at minimum very strong epoxy, and a better design would be to have it finished as a single piece.I bought another one a few months before in a mostly unused car and I anticipate it will break this winter once I drive the car more.Pay more for one that will last.

What a great product!! Clips easily to the air vent. USB C connector for fast recharge/charge. i use it for my Iphone 12 but it works just as easily for my wife's iPhone 14.

This is great. I attached to car vent. It charges my phone as well as holding it in view. It is a smaller size than usual ones but holds and larger phone well. I have three and I love them all.

Bought this specifically for mounting to my 2018 RAV4 left side of windshield. Not a good place to mount on the left side of dash since there is a speaker grill there. Fell off after 1 week. Remounted twice and fell off within 1 or 2 days. Will try again after a good rinse because they say it can be used again after a water rinse. If it still falls off again I will be returning it. Good part is that I like the simple sleek look of the mount and arm.

The car mount has a strong magnet. It is a little hard to attach to the vent because it is very tight but needs to be to stay on the vent. I would recommend, I bought a second one for my truck.
