My cholesterol went down 10 points after taking these for a few months and some minimal dietary changes. I don’t think my dietary changes would have been that effective if I was not also taking this product. They taste good and mine have always been soft and chewy.

The Benocol chews are a good way to get your plant stanols and sterols. My husband and I really like the taste.

I just started enjoying Benecol chews in the last several weeks. I love the flavor! I feel like I am enjoying a chocolate treat twice daily while hopefully addressing my cholesterol numbers. I have not yet checked my bloodwork (too soon) but am truly hoping for improvement in the numbers with the use and enjoyment of Benecol.

I have only been using this for a couple weeks. I cannot say if it has any effects on lowering cholesterol. I can update my review in a couple of months on that. A serving is 4 pieces. The pieces are individually wrapped. The chews have a good chocolate taste. It does seem to take a few minutes to get these chewed up completely. Nothing negative there. Just something I have observed. One negative thing is this has a lot of carbs. And the 4 pieces are 90 calories. That is a lot, especially if you are watching weight. To get the amount of plant stanol you need, you would need to do the full serving. These chews are expensive, but if they work, I would rather pay the price for this as to take a statin. I will update my review in a couple of months as to if it seems to have made a difference in cholesterol numbers. I am actually only doing this every other day. Alternating with another cholesterol chew. But I will be purchasing this again when this bag is almost gone.As I promised I am updating my review. And changing the stars from 5 to 1. These have no effect on lowering cholesterol. I eat very healthy but my cholesterol is considered elevated. I refuse to take a Statin so I found this and wanted to try that. When my lab work was done this year my cholesterol was actually 2 points higher so using these did not lower anything. And again, I am very strict in what I eat and how I eat.I do still stand behind the product having a great taste. But if you are looking for something to actually lower your cholesterol this isn’t going to do it. Andit is too expensive for me to try it again.

I used these chews years ago and they worked. My Lipids went down and then Walmart stopped selling them and now I noticed Amazon had them so I am going to try them again. They are chewy and I like them
