Modern Chrome Rod Star LED Pendant Lamp Ceiling Hanging Chandelier 12 Lights (White)

First of all you need to know this is a very low quality product. Just be aware and forewarned. In the end we were pleased with the look but it was very difficult to install. Primarily because it was not standardized and my husband (who is essentially a handyman) had to improvise quite a bit. He rated the install 6 (10 being the most difficult) due to the frustration and skill needed to problem solve this thing.I thought it might be valuable to tell you about our installation experience to help you with yours... The instructions that come with the light are laughable (=English translation issues) and not useful at all. It doesn’t come with a USA standard mounting box so we had to improvise by adding 3” wood screws to mount it to the ceiling. This only worked because we had an above beam to tie it into, we got lucky. In addition my husband had to add ~1/4 inch spacers from the ceiling in order for the flat head screws that came with the light to be installed as originally they were too close. The wires on this light are not standard (!) so it was a crap shoot as to what was what, but my husband ended up hooking up the green-yellow wire on the light to the copper ground, the brown on the light to the black from the ceiling, and the blue on the light to the white using his own wire nuts as the ones that were included were too small. It also took a 14 mm open-end wrench to screw in the individual rods into position once it was mounted on the ceiling (we suggest you pre adjust the rods BEFORE you mount to the ceiling as this is tricky and takes some finesse). It is awkward, but put the glass pieces on BEFORE adding the bulbs (and just know that they stick out past the ends of the glass). Overall the LEDs don’t put off much light, but they look cool.Just prepare yourself, lower your expectations a bit, and enjoy what you end up with!

I knew I the challenges I would face based on the 1 review written on the product so far. Thanks for that by the way. As the previous reviewer stated, this chandelier is difficult to install and you will need to make improvisations with the screws. I had my friend install it who is an electrician and he expressed the same issues with wiring colors and connections, the support screws, and the horrible instructions. We had to look at the pictures several times to understand how the bars should lay. I recommend you do not tighten the bars completely and allow them to have some flexibility so you can make slight adjustments if necessary. Another issue with this fixture are the glass covers that go over the light bulbs. They were designed to go over these metal flex pieces that do not flex. My electrician had to use pliers to squeeze the metal pieces and then install the glass covers ever so delicately. They still developed little nicks as there is no rubber cap at the bottom of the glass covers. After installation, one of my lightbulbs burned out. Very poor design....But it does look nice and that's why I purchased the item for the look and the price was not outrageous. I do however recommend the price be lowered for the pain and suffering the next consumer will suffer. Hope this review helps someone.
