I cannot sleep flat on the ground anymore. I usually car camp and bring my big foam pillow from home. For a camping trip that required a plane ride, I couldn't do that. This little pillow gave me enough neck and head support for a good night's sleep. I plan to bring it on my next tropical overseas trip, where bedding might not be so great. It squooshes way down in a pack or suitcase.Only thing that wasn't great is, it looks like it's going to be hard to get it out of its case to wash it--the pillow is in two parts and somewhat compressed. I'm going to add a pillowcase for future.

Not a bad pill if space is at a premium. Great for flights, buses, and backpacking trips. Expect a bit less of the comfort a true pillow has, but definitely better than nothing. Price does match the size rather well. It gets a 3.8 from me...

Purchased this for my son's science camp trip and after delivery we take it out of the package, roll the pillow up and place into the bag and when we went to clip it onto his luggage bag, the strap comes right off. Looks as though it wasn't sewn into the fabric properly or very well. Very disappointing.

This is a sufficient pillow for travel, unfortunately there's a horrible headache inducing smell that comes off the pillow when first opened. It was so bad that I had to air the pillows outside for a few days and wash the pillow case covering the foam pads. Also, the pillow covers are thin, travel pillowcases are advised for these. Fortunately these came a few days before my trip so I was able to air them out ahead of time.

This pillow is WONDERFUL! It came just in time for me to enjoy the rest of my summer beach time in comfort. A complimentary tote came with it, but it seems some gymnastics are needed to stuff it into the carrier, so I'll keep that for something else. It arrives vacuum packed and immediately sprung into shape. There was a light odor, but it quickly cleared up by the next day. I commissioned a pillow case from my crafty mother for this pillow and in the meantime, I used a standard size pillowcase and wrapped it around 2x and tucked the excess around the top (see pix). I could have just used this, but why be boring when you can have a custom case! The wizard spun up a cute blue one with a flower print! Perfect for my naps. Now, the comfort - it is very nice, has good give, not too firm and not too soft. The only problem is my naps usually involve some drool so, I may need to request some sort of liner / protector to put over the pillow first. RUN. Order it. You will love this. Oh, and the price point is PHENOMENAL. Top marks in value, quality, and usefulness.

I received this just in time to take on an 8 day camping trip where we slept on an air mattress on top of a cot. Having this pillow was just like being at home, but in mini size. It worked great! It fluffed out in no time and I was happy it didn't have an odor since I didn't have time to air it out before we left. I didn't use the cooling cover since it was cold out on the lake at night, but the memory foam was so nice on my neck and gave me soft sponginess plus support at the same time. The small size was easy to pack up when we were done - I quickly rolled it up, all the air squeezed out, and the stuff sack was plenty roomy enough to pop it back in for storage. This is also a great size to keep in the car for kids (or adults!) during road trips. Great purchase!
