Compact Under Desk Cable Management Tray - Cable Organizer for Wire Management, Desk Wire Organizer, Cable Tray - Black Set of 2x12

I have a wooden standing desk that cost me over $500 so I was VERY wary of drilling into it. I used extreme caution and it worked out great! I recommend checking and double-checking the size of the drill bit that you use. I used one that was very close to the size of the screw (when in doubt, go with the thinner bit first). I marked the length of the screw on the bit by placing tape on it so I wouldn't accidentally drill too far into the desk. All I had to do was just stop at or before I reached the tape on the drill bit.It came with plenty of screws which are wide enough for the gap in the wire basket where the screws are meant to go. Because of all the screws, this thing isn't going ANYWHERE which is good because I currently have two fully loaded surge protectors in it. The open side was helpful since once everything is plugged in, I had to kinda just shove everything into the basket so it would fit. The fact that it's wire and not solid meant that I could easily use velcro cable ties to secure loose wires to the underside of the desk.Taking it apart will still be a bit of a rat's nest situation. That wouldn't be the case if you took more time than I did to really keep everything clean, but the point of this basket in my case was to just get all the loose cables and plugs off the ground so the floor and wall under the desk are virtually empty. I highly recommend this product.

UPDATE: 04/08/24The baskets are working great! No issues. Since the last review, have added more cables, power centers, usb splitters, and keeping everything in order. Check out the additional two pictures added. Very pleased with this purchase. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.--------------------------------I researched cable management wire baskets/trays for over a week. I looked all brands and all types. One think I knew I wanted was an open design in two pieces instead of one, and there is good logic for that. You need to keep the center portion of the underside of your desk free of any accessories in the event you want to purchase two monitors with a "desk clamp." monitor arm. This particular brand served the purpose quite well.As you can see in the pictures, they blend in nicely with my black APEX 47" pneumatic desk. I have reserved center space for the installation of the desk clamp mounted dual monitor arm which is coming soon. The trays are light weight with a nice flat area for your power accessories. Now, I was a little concerned about the length of the wood screws might penetrate the top portion of the desk, therefore I used THREE included washers, and only two screws per tray. This setup worked perfectly and I can't be any happier with the end result.I now will have everything under the desk nice and neat and off the floor. You also get two tie straps too! I recommend this product, it is well made, nice paint job, and sturdy. The two screws per tray hold it nicely. I only have four holes on both of them. I didn't want multiple holes on the underside of my desk. Five stars for this product for price, design, and quality. :-)

This was the easiest organization organizer to set up. I was a little skeptical with how many screws but the template that is included to drill the pilot holes made this so easy and quick to install. We have a bunch of wires behind our TV and have two cats that love to go back there which always worried me. Now everything is off the ground, easier to clean, and looks better. This was installed into a tv stand from Walmart/Target. It has been installed for just over a month now and no issues. Holding up great with the weight of the wires with the surge protector in the black box and our internet modem. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get their wires organized.

I was moving to another state and sold my desk to reduce the amount of stuff needing transport. When it come time to purchase a new desk, I wanted something with better cable management. I looked at several desks that included cable management systems, but they were all too long for the allocated space in my new office. I ended up buying a Realspace Magellan Pneumatic Desk (great desk, btw), but it doesn't include any cable management. I decided to purchase the Under Desk Cable Organizer and am very happy with my decision. Mounting the trays was easy with the included template. (Sidebar: I highly recommend drilling pilot holes with a 1/6" bit, which makes screwing the screws much easier.) Contrary to some other reviews, I found the wireframe trays to be adequately strong and sturdy to support power bricks and surge protectors. My only slight criticism is the price, which might be a slight bit on the high side, but overall I am very satisfied with the product.

These are sturdy and very functional, and though I lucked out with an actual wood desktop to drill into, I definitely wished I'd read more of the description before ordering. This need a solid material to anchor to, and my previous wood-ISH desk would not have fit the bill. Also, my drill got a ton of work with this. It took less than 20 minutes to set these up, and about 1/3rd of that was because I kept dropping the screws.If you're lazy and not great at measuring like me, don't pre-drill all the holes. I just pre-drilled the middle for each rack, screwed that one in most of the way, and then used the middle hole as guidance to drill and screw in the other two. Bing, bam, boom -- Success! Now my cords are less annoying and visible, and it helps control them for my standing desk in any position with the surge protector tucked into one of them.
