Bike Seat Clamp Bicycle Seatpost Collar Diameter 31.8mm /34.9mm,Premium Lightweight Aluminum Seat Post Clamp

Needed to replace the factory quick release clamp on my cheap bike because it wouldn't clamp down hard enough on the seat post. This was the cure for that problem.

Nicely made clamp at a good price. Also like that it uses an M6x25 bolt, that has much better clamp capability than an M4 bolt that most other post clamps use. The bolt itself is junk soft metal. I stripped it on my initial install. Luckily I was able to get it off and replaced it with a stainless M6x25mm hex bolt from my local Lowes.

Works fine, easy to use, fits my 15-year-old Gary Fisher.

not the right size

I had to repair an E-bike with an odd problem. It seems that the built in seat post clamp wasn't able to hold the seat post firmly enough and each time the rider put their weight on the seat the seat post would slide down into the tube making it too short for the rider. This 31.8mm clamp was just the right size to fit the seat post perfectly so I just slid it onto the seat post and tightened it in place to stop the post from sliding down into the tube. It worked perfectly and now the rider is happy once again. Thanks for a great solution at such a reasonable price!

Not the lightest part in existence, if every gram counts you might want something else. But for me this is perfect to make my dropper post marginally harder for sticky fingers to remove. It tightened to torque easily with no issues, looks nice too.

This is just a basic bike seat clamp. It is secured by means of an allen screw. It works just as good as any clamp that I've used. Just make sure the clamp is the right size for your seatpost. It's the outside of the seatpost that needs to be measured, not the inside.

On one of my bikes, I hit the seat post clamp with my leg while pedaling, as it's a quick release style, and the lever gets in the way. I grabbed this to swap to, and it fixed that issue right up! I no longer smack the clamp lever with my leg on my pedal strokes, and I don't have to worry about catching it and releasing my seat while riding. It seems to be built pretty sturdy, and I had no issues installing it (although I do ride with a dropper post, and it is as low as it can go, so outside of twisting, the clamp doesn't need to hold the seat up at all).
