The Flavor is there. How to bring it out
Many of the reviews on this product are negative because the reviewer does not taste the “Cherry“ In the product like one would if it is fresh, not dried. This was a consistent criticism throughout the negative reviews and right away I knew what the problem was and how to solve it.Rehydration of fried cherries, if done correctly, will come very close to restoring the “fresh cherry” taste.I do this 1/2 a pound of the dried cherries at a time. It involves placing the 1/2 pound of cherries into a microwavable container with lid and covering the cherries with either purified water or distilled water with just enough water to cover the cherries. Place the cherries in a microwave with the lid of the container on tight and microwave it for approximately five minutes.Let the cherries “steep” for at least two hours. What water isn’t absorbed into the cherries turns into really tasty cherry juice. The cherries will swell, but, of course, will not swell nearly as large as a fresh cherry. Doesn’t matter. It’s the taste and the somewhat restored texture that counts. To prevent the rehydrated cherries from fermenting or eventually molding because they were not consumed soon enough, make sure that the amount of cherries that you rehydrate is not too much for your particular personal and/or family consumption. One also has to be careful about the number of rehydrated cherries they eat because there are no pits to slow down the consumption process. Make it a goal to eat no more than 20 to 30 rehydrated cherries a day otherwise side effects like intestinal blockage and excessive gas may occur.Of course, these cherries can also be eaten as is, but there will be very little “cherry taste“. If that doesn’t bother you Then you can skip the rehydration process. Even in that case, it’s not a good idea eating more than 20 to 30 cherries a day.But when this rehydration process is used then I give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to this product for texture, taste, quality, and value for the money.

Lovely but no info in package
The cherries themselves are luscious. My kids were a little bummed that they tasted like raisins (only sort of). They're just for me, though, haha. They're not dry and dirty tasting like raisins. They're juicier? But not juicy and not sticky. No added sugar like with dried cranberries, but they're sweet enough on their own! The packaging was a little off-putting compared to other organic dried fruits I have purchased - especially for the price, but I'm not mad - the plastic bag was just like a blue clear trash bag tied closed with a zip tie. There was no label, no nutrition information, no place of origin label, no storage instructions. That could be improved.

Great dried cherries
The cherries are very good, chewy texture, and not sugary. Only had one or two with tiny bits of pit in or I would have give five stars.

High quality dried Bing cherries
After reading many reviews for this product, positive and not so, I decided to give them a try. I’m glad I did. They arrived today. I had expected the blue bag sealed with a zip tie, as described by many before me. I weighed the product to ensure it was 5 lbs, it was. When I opened the bag, a sweet pleasant aroma filled the air. The dried bing cherries are plump, moist and flavorful. I’ve had other dried cherry products over the years and this ranks no.1 in my opinion.

So-so at best
Pretty bland, not much flavor. Most are nice and chewy, but a few are too dried to eat.

Plump, sweet and high quality cherries!
After reading some mixed reviews I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality plumpness and taste. I have added this to my subscription and will continue to purchase if the quality remains. These cherries are just as good if not better than what I have purchased from a local organic co-op.
