It’s beautiful scale but way to heavy. It has a great handle but to heavy to lift or move around I will give mine away and get one where I’m aware of how much the scale it self weighs I will not bother to return it as it isto heavy to even Bri g to post office thank you

Don't trust the DETECTO name - bought this scale and it gives me a different weight reading from one second to the next when I weigh myself repeatedly on the same morning in the span of 1 minute. Detecto does not stand behind their products - they "offered" that I should pack up this heavy scale and mail it back to them AT MY COST, and that they'd take a look at it. And the "Amazon seller" I apparently bought this from only gives a 30 day warranty. Shows you how much faith they have in this Detecto product. Or maybe they were selling the models that had been dropped on their head and they knew they were broken. Over $00 for nothing - broken scale - and wasted time chatting with Detecto who says a lot, offers to "help" and then DOES NOTHING to resolve the problem.

The scale seems to be more accurate that lower priced scales we have purchaased

This scale is accurate and easy to read. If you set it to announce your weight it will do so quite audibly.While there are times I wish that it was off by 25 pounds, showing me to be more disciplined in my eating than I am, I am impressed with how accurate and easy to read this large scale is.Oren

Works 100%! No problems in one year of use.Built for big: not only does it take a lot of weight, the tread is large too so it fits big feet!Stores upright to get it out of the way if you don't want to looks at it, and the built in handle helps here too.

No rubber feet - scale slides across the floor when you step on it - bought it because it was supposed to have them according to description - disappointed in scale from safety aspect

Worth the money - big enough that you can actually stand normally on it. Same scale as in my Dr. office.
