when I've constructed my first computer this was the video card to have!
Butthat was a slow about stress areback in the day! A good quoteonce read engraved into a desk at university was -' Nostalgia its not quite what it used to be!'I remember being very impressed by the graphics on Unreal! using GLideanyway I no longer have the dexterity to play games may be that is the reason behind the nostalgia!Anyway great while it lasted!

I bought my voodoo 3 3000 last November yet never got the full benefit of it until I bought a 17 inch monitor (1024x768 resolution). At this minute I'm not even considering upgrading as this card runs the fastest games with the richest graphics superbly (Unreal Tournament, Quake 3, system Shock 2 etc.). The price of this card is coming down as voodoo release its new cards so a bargain should be had. I am also running on 400Mhz machine and it flies. Anyway enough of me drivelling on - just buy it.
