It looks decent and only used it yesterday for the first time to check out for hinges, cant fault it. Works perfectly with dewalt batteries and looks very similar for a fraction of the price. Variable speed is very handy for different materials. It’s heavier than a corded but no cables to hold out of your way makes up for that hands down.Dust extraction port is great but does slightly hamper your view of the bit but i bought it for checking out hinges on frames so using a dust extractor defeats having a cordless router.All in all id recommend this tool to everyone. Will it last as long as the dewalt one, who knows but considering youd buy maybe 4 of these for the price of the dewalt its a no brainer to me

I love this router, I have wanted the dewalt version of this for a while now but couldn't justify the cost given that it would only be used for diy projects. So I decided to give this one a go. I have been really impressed by it it works great for small detail stuff and the router bit set that comes with it, isn't the best but will do a few jobs before it needs replacing. It's very simple to set up and adjust the height. Overall great value for money.

Although the product arrived early and courteously from the driver who handed it to me. The wrapping seemed intact however the contents were rattling inside. Discovered some of the guides and screws were loosely packed and that all the expected router bits and dust hood were missing. Really disappointed as choose this model for this reason that I could use it out of the box. Due to lacking these parts I have to return. on inspection of the router, it seems sturdy and a nice weight, not too light to feel cheap and not heavy for portability and quick use. Appears to take a Dewalt battery but could not check performance without tool bits. The adjustment controls are very basic, not one I would recommend for any precise work OK for a hobbyist or DIY job but not suited to any detailed carpentry or joint work the height adjustment cannot take the weight so has to be set and locked before setting the tool down this can be problematic if you intend to cut dept in stages... though still possible would frustrate the hell out of meOn the off chance tried with my Dewalt 18v XR battery, sadly product did not work either. Battery was fully charged and LED light activates on the tool but no rotation, could be a safety thing but without having the bits I could not say.

Solid product, works well so far. Only used for rounding off some window boards but did it just as well as my makita.Magnets in the motor feel strong and the soft start is a nice touch too.My only issue is that it doesn't like the new powerstack batteries (turns itself off for some reason, maybe overvoltage), however, it does work perfectly on an old 4.0amp I've had kicking about for the last 8 years.Great tool, just use the old style batteries.

Less than 1 star. Terrible tool, less than 1 meter of bull nosing some MDF and the bearing collapsed ruining my MDF also. First time i have ever strayed from branded tools and will be the last. Economics are all off too even for the 45 seconds that it worked its no good.
