This works, but the rinsing time was absolutely boring. This was exactly how I used the product: I showered using only shampoo 24 hours prior. Applied 2 boxes of Color Oops, let sit for 20 mins, rinse like 30 seconds before applying shampoo (Sauve Almond and Shea Butter), quickly worked into a lather then 17 min rinsing. I then used shampoo every 5 mins for the next 15 mins. For good measure I rinsed 3 more mins before using Color Oops Reconstructor conditioner + Sauve Biotin Infusion. I let that sit for 11 min before rinsing 2 mins. Done. So the smell? It is ok, not as bad as every one made it out to be. Yes the next day my hair still has a faint smell similar to sulfur, and my bathroom is like a punch of sulfur eggs. My hair tolerated the product well (you can see how much hair I lost during the process which wasnt as bad as I thought). My hair definitely has some frizz now, and feels dry. I will be applying the Sauce brand Guacamole Whip Deep Moisture Hair Mask in the next two days to help put some moisture back in.

As everyone says, the smell is off putting. Not when you apply, but after and for seemingly ever after. I think it worked amazing though the rinsing for over 40 minutes is nothing to shrug at… work those arms!!! Worked amazingly well to get dark purple and red out of my hair and returned most of it to the natural color.

Product did not take the color out.. after 20 minutes it tinted my hair a dark orange after 40 a medium orange my hair was oranganly a dark brown highly disappointed glad I did a test strand

Started with dark and i mean DARK red hair layered on top of multiple hot pink home dye jobs and it lightened to a rose gold color. If you follow the instructions EXACTLY and I mean exactly (yes you will have to rinse for like an hour, if you want results you better do it) you will see A LOT of lift for just one box. I have decently thick shoulder length hair, but I parted it quite a bit in order to fully saturate my head, then used a hair dryer on the plastic cap for 10 out of the 20 minutes of processing time. Now a warning, the smell is NO JOKE. It genuinely smells like skunks had a rotten egg and trash juice party on your head. The smell is tough to get out as well. Id recommend a strong hydrating and fragrant hair mask to leave in for awhile when you're done and even then it may take more than one shower to get the smell fully out. For the love of god dont leave your bathroom. I left for a second, and now there's a smell somewhere in the carpet but I can't fully tell where. Regardless, this product does work as advertised when you actually follow the directions. A must buy if you want color out but can't bleach your hair.

I had years of box hair dye in my hair, and it removed red and orange colors out of my hair. The smell is pretty bad and I could smell it a couple of hours later when I went to bed. I'm glad I purchased the one that comes with conditioner because after you use OOPPs my hair felt so dry and brittle. I purchased the double box of OOPPs and used both to remove the red and orange out of my hair.

This product work!! My hair was jet black and it got all the black out of my hair. I will purchase again

Even though this is probably one of the worst smelling products I have ever used it took me from probably a number four Brown to this unless than 30 minutes and now I am sleeping with deep conditioner on and I'm going to hit it with that platinum in the morning so I can be back on my way to Gray. Sometimes we all do stupid things!
