Not for everyone, but still very, very good.
OK these are not for everyone (but tell me a set of earphones, or headphones, which are; this from an owner of many Grado’s, AKG’s and a pair of HD800 S’s). What I mean is they are typical B&O sound signature: in my view ‘smooth’.They are retro in style. They sit differently, in your ears (A complaint in many other reviews): This can drastically affect the sound, especially the low frequencies, if pushed too far into the ear and obviously they will let external sounds in.The button functions are OK.The manufacture quality is very good.I use them in the gym, for anaerobic, not aerobic: they are not waterproof, as far as I can determine.I could imagine quite room listening would be good, where the wearer wants to move about and still maintain contact with the outside world. When about in street e.g. walking to work, where the wearer wants isolation, not so.Now, an Initial RRP of >£250 – no way! But at this price a bargain; if they fit your ‘bill’.

Beautiful sound
Some people moan that these phones do not fit in theirears, they are not meant to, they sit nicely outside the canal. Yes some noise leak, but very comfortable. The sound quality is as expected from B&O, beautiful and crisp with a heavy amount of bass, perfect for me.

Great sound and fab brand for a very reasonable price
I've used Shokz for years (each pair lasting just a little more than 12 months) but have been so disappointed with their customer service in replacing faulty items that I've moved to these. They're a bit heavier but the sound quality is great. I've had B&O wired headphones previously and their customer service was amazing if needed - highly recommend!

You need to download an app to make this work
There is no indication in the product info. that you need to download an app to make the earphones work. You need to create a Bang and Olufsen account- there are no instructions on the download about having verify the account for the app to work. After nearly 4 hours of trying to download the app- then randomly guessing I might have been e-mailed something - verifying the account then going back to the unresponsive app- uninstalling and reinstalling the app deleting the account recreating the account etc. - starting from absolute zero having uninstalled everything B&O related deleted the account and trying to use the information gleaned in the the whole 4 hour process I was STILL unable to install a working app thus the earphones remain nothing more than a fairly ineffective paper weight. I am no Steve Jobs when it comes to tech but I have successfully paired Bluetooth devices in the past. I may have missed something in the process but this just highlights the poor support in making purchasers understand how to make the product work. By the end of this entire process my patience with this was exhausted- Fortunately Amazon have accepted the return and this will be going back in the next day or so.This might be a very good product when it works- I have had a pair of B&O earphones for nearly 20 year- bought for my IPod (when IPods were the height of innovation) - they work fine and have a good sound still- but alas no microphone- hence the thought of replacing them with this product .

What to make of these ???
I’m finding it hard to pin down what I feel about these earphones. (Which in of itself may give you all the information you need)But if you’re still here and interested…Firstly these do sound good (far superior to the main player in the market ) . And if used in conjunction with the B&O App the sound range is very adjustable making for a rich range of sound from treble to base and everything in between. They have an around neck cable connecting the two , this serves to share impulse , power etc and incorporates a control bar , volume etc and also means you can take one out of your ear and let it dangle (helpful)They pair easily to Bluetooth and from there Spotify phone other apps etc.But that’s sort of where it stops. They feel clunky and large , and were either designed by a bloke with massive inner ear holes, or designed totally on a computer screen free of any real life testing? For me they sit unnervingly forward/off my ear meaning I feel if I yawn or flex my ears up and down they may fall off even with loops folded around my ear loops which don’t feel tight enough to give surety? They don’t fall off ..but they feel vulnerable. The ear piece itself doesn’t push into the ear , it’s simply too large and totally circular (human ears have form and curves). These don’t.See picture (excuse the close up of my ear). They also come with small foam speaker covers which is a strong nod to headphones I had in the 80s (a nod I could do without remembering).Putting these on counterintuitively helps a little further with them fitting slightly better (slightly) but is a little like putting a shower cap on a cockroach. For those who've never done this.Believe me it’s tricky.Overall I’m keeping them simply because of the sound. But it will remain to be seen if over use I find some further idiosyncrasy that makes me abandon them.Good luck 🤞🏼

Not massively impressed
Bought these in January 2023 and threw them in the bin (out of sheer frustration) in December 2024.I use headphones every day and they weren’t holding any battery. Got to the point where they couldn’t survive a 90 minute dog walk. Not what I’d expect from B&O.
