Bought for my dad who loves a pearl of wisdom. He's spent hours reading through this and the Idioms book. This one is definitely better though.

I think there's always a small lesson to be learned in a proverb. If you can convey a meaningful message in the fewest words possible, then I think you're going to capture people's attention. I think that can be quite valuable for someone who simply wants to understand the ways of things.
