It's kinda of a thin cardboard. I was disappointed with the material but it looks real from the photos but its very cheap in person. I returned it.

I used this frame as a prop in my Alice in Wonderland bedroom in casita!!! It’s perfect for my needs but it’s not perfect for use in many situations!It’s not very sturdy &!the gold is off..the size is perfect for my project!!!

It's just made out of cheapy cardboard/plastic. Came in two folded pieces that were easy enough to assemble and there are no obvious creases/folds. makes for a nice cheap prop that doesn't look half bad. I even used it in wedding photos. with some editing, the pictures came out stunning!
