I really like this Nikwax wool wash
I've been very impressed with the Nikwax wool wash. It washes wool garments well and leaves them smelling fresh and feeling soft.It's expensive, but I feel it's worth it for washing expensive Merino wool clothing.

Seems to clean the woolen items and leave them smelling fresh.The user instructions don't confirm the number of items per wash. The instructions just say items.1 litre should last a long time and is value for money

Very pleased, think price is reasonable considering the cost of the jumpers I've used it on, 3 x merino, 2x cashmereand 3 x ultra heavy natural oiled wool fisherman's sweaters.Left them clean and noticeably softer, thumbs up.

Cleans Wool items thoroughly .
The smell canput some people off , but , cleans and protects wool ,without removing it's natural oils , you only need a small amount for a good clean .

Used for years - Great product
I've been using this stuff for years with my merino wool items of clothing, including socks and cold-weather base layers. It seems to keep the items more flexible and softer than standard non-bio products. Definitely recommended.

Seems to work well on performance wear, not as well on wool sweaters. There's a lingering smell of chemicals left after the wash, which I find unpleasant, so I needed to hang them in the outdoor shed for a few days to air out. But they're definitely clean with no armpit odor.
